The few lawyers I've met in my life all seemed like good honest folks who are smarter than the average bear and do their job for their client as best as they can - so far I've been satisfied with them even though they are expensive. On the other hand, I have a close relative that worked in various capacities in several law firms and her opinion is, "They are all snakes and if the SHTF, follow Shakespeare's advice."
