Oh, and here I thought that he was as visiting statues of his distant relatives. I am relieved.

Hey everyone iI’ve been informed that Dino is a “different lizard”and he has not ever been to the land of sky blue waters. The image is of a stupid T-Rex so never mind.

Me dino not know stupid looking T-Rexes who can't even give hugs.
That's because me went extinct be the end of the Jurassic before they began to show up midway through the Cretaceous.
But guess what? Due to the quirks of geology and dumb luck, allosaur fossils got found first. I mean before any other two-legged carnivores that resemble me.
That's why Allosaurus means "different lizard" and why I starred as the top predator in a 1925 silent flick, the original The Lost World, based on on a novel written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle of Sherlock Holmes fame.

If it isn't your Dino up there in Minnesota, it sure must be a close relative! Those sculptures are magnificent!

Those sure sound like the Michigan/Ohio fish I've been catching all my life. I've spent many a happy hour or five in my skiff, fishing for whatever bites. We used to keep a coffee can full of dried smoked fish on the galley table for snacks.

Me dino be in Alabama for never being in Minnesota ever.
As this hemisphere begins to warm always on schedule, I'll have my hummingbird feeders up before those fascinating critters always begin to show up by mid-March.

Yes, they are a work of art. Too bad that global warming will soon make ice sculptures extinct. Oh, wait! Doesn’t global warming happen at this time every year. Dino, get back to Alabama where you belong.

That's great! Nothing as sweet as pig! I am in the process of doing some country style ribs for dinner tonight.
We've had some luck catching catfish the past couple weeks, one 6lb, and 2 x 4lb. I 'farm' some worms, and use them to catch some bait fish. Then leave a couple lines in the water all the time if possible. We have a automatic fish feeder that attracts bait fish, which attract bigger fish. Our next door neighbor also benefits from that and shares his catfish catch. Catching fresh fish is almost as sweet as pig and very satisfying. ;^)
