I got a call late last night. Woke me up. A long-time close friend of mine had just died from Covid. This guy was a great guy. Dedicated family man. Father of three - the youngest being only a year old. He was a very heavy-set guy. 6'4", about 330 or more. He worked in aerospace enginering but had a degree in history. Very interesting conversations over the years with him. For many years we brewed beer together, played a lot of bad golf, and shared many adult beverages. I really loved this guy.

I mention it here because I'm curious if, at this point, anybody else here is fed up with China. Lost my dad. Now my buddy. We got Fauci and the President Beady-Eyed Sock Puppet running cover for them. The cost is un-f*&ing real at this point. I seem to have had a front-row seat to watching the world unvravel the past couple years. I'm gonna keep charging ahead and keep fighting. But, these things don't discourage me...only make me less docile. If we had handled China in an appropriate manner perhaps this wouldn't have been so bad. All the media was saying while Trump was starting to deal with this was "testing, testing, we need more testing". They should have been asking us to crop dust China with bleach. The place, based on what I've seen in my work, is the toilet of humanity. It's time humanity address this issue of every massive pandemic starting there. They don't have p-traps in a lot of their plumbing. They sit in the blood and guts when they slaughter chickens. People spit all over the place. Their public toilets are nightmarish. Hell - the Tianamen Square protestor I worked with at Boeing in 1990 (political asylum grandted by Bush 1) said they were still eating people there back then. Just a total shite-hole. Half a peg above N. Korea. And we cowtow to them. We do this to our own demise, it seems.
