Women's sports: subjectivity continues to triumph over objective facts

Seems like weird karma for leftists who thought they were achieving rights for women. Who thought it would lead to Buttgig getting maternity leave to facilitate breast feeding?

I'm in favor of a third group for all the non-conformists. My bet is that as soon as it started it would either dry up because no one would watch or it would get predictably dominated by the biological males.

There is no such thing as "gender-reassignment" surgery. It's plastic surgery. Maybe throw in some chemical hormones. But it doesn't change the person's cellular DNA. It doesn't change their brain chemistry or wiring. Humans just don't change sex.

100% correct. And they continue to suffer after it's done, and wind up on antidepressants. It's a sad affliction to have.

It is a sad statistic that suicide is 30% higher than the rest of the population even after such surgeries have taken place. It is pretty clear that the problem isn't a physical one, but a mental/pschological one of trying to merge conflicting feelings. I don't envy anyone in such a condition and advocate that all one can do is show compassion as they try to work through things. And I can say it from personal experience with someone very close to me.

I divide trans people into two classes. Those who were born that way, and those who were molded that way by teachers. Compassion for both. But the latter half need not suffer so much. It's criminal.

I prefer to take individual issues individually. IMHO, the overarching problem in all of this is trying to apply generic "solutions" like surgery to an individual challenge. These individuals need caring counseling to find out what is driving their feelings and behaviors and helping them examine what they want out of life. It's only AFTER you do all this that you can start looking at potential courses of action. All too often, proponents just skip all this and go straight to the physical.

Yes well said. Nevertheless it is criminal that teachers are preying on the students to see who they can confuse next into the transworld. It's an attack on society. Let trans people be, give them the help they need, but leave everyone else alone!!!

I agree. Teachers are neither qualified (by education or training) nor authorized (parents are the ONLY authorities) to interject themselves in such a conversation. A teacher who interposes themselves into such a situation and tries to encourage surreptitious/clandestine action is engaging in intentional subterfuge and deceit in violation of their trust as an educator. All such should be at the very minimum discharged from their employment and disbarred from ever functioning in such a role again.

I liked it much better when there were only two genders. I never gave any thought to what others did in the privacy of their own bedrooms. Maybe it is high time we close and lock the closet doors.

Me dino does not have a problem transsexuals competing with each other. Wouldn't watch it, though. Heck, I don't watch any athletes swim period.
And where the heck is Women's Lib? Afraid they'll be cancelled by libtarded jokes who wear the yoke of Woke?

Feminists are on a transectional spectrum. They must stand up for women but they also much stand up for the Alphabet People. The transies suffer more than real women evidently so real women can go to hell and wait in line for justice behind the transies.

All the trans community needs is a little A=A tattoo on their foreheads. In the mirror it cannot be confused as backwards. I don't wish any pain or suffering on gay or trans people, life is hard enough. However they have no right to trample over other people's lives to have their special demands met at the expense of others. Not to mention, that a significant and growing portion of the trans community are ordinary heterosexual people who have been mind raped by teachers into joining that group. That's a crime against humanity.

I agree with your assessment of the mind raping -- by both teachers and the media -- insisting that N% of folks are Bisexual, for N sufficiently large, where the reality is that N is a low single digit. Imposing this raping on the very young is a warrant for application of a rope. I have no children myself. I will tip a few in celebration if social media is ever splattered with the image of one of these disgusting rapists dangling, naked, from a rope.

Great argument to eliminate gendered sports, Title 9, and open the playing field for all. We can save massive taxes!

We are all the same, or we are not. There is no try...

I think these persons who want to assume female identity when they don't have the equipment to do so didn't get enough attention living in the gender they were born in and they want "Equal Rights For Women" to be for them but they didn't fight for it like we did and they don't deserve them.

Honestly I have to admit I never wanted 'Equal Rights For Women'. I liked it when we had it better than the boys and I hated giving up what we had for the little we got. When I divorced my first husband, I got the kid, the car, the bank account and complete custody, control, and education of the baby he didn't deserve. I also let him pay for the Lawyers on both sides!

To quote Robert Heinlein: “Whenever women have insisted on absolute equality with men, they have invariably wound up with the dirty end of the stick. What they are and what they can do makes them superior to men, and their proper tactic is to demand special privileges, all the traffic will bear. They should never settle merely for equality. For women, "equality" is a disaster.”

It should be redefined from Mens and Women sports to With and Without sports, with simple pictorials on the doors of restrooms, locker rooms, etc., and maybe even have a new league for "Other".
