Thanks. He's 87 with early Alzheimers and you'd never guess it unless you had known him for years, but he's ex-Navy and a fighter, so we're hoping for next week. It's been four weeks so far. I really miss our snuggles :)

You are right, ffa, it has been invaded by decades of thought war. Who do we shoot? There is no one figure we can point to, unlike Dr. Statler. Although I have no way to wage an effective one-woman war, I am willing to defend myself and my loved ones and the ground I stand on, with whatever means it takes. Unfortunately, those who would come after me are too cowardly to show in person. Instead I will be facing fellow citizens who have no idea why they fight. I will know why they are there following orders and if they feel compelled to do that, then I will be ready to do what I must to dissuade them. If the looters arrive first, same result.

I am an armed civilian. If this country were to be invaded, I would then be a citizen soldier. So be it.
