The government doesn't listen to its true experts. I said I'm come clean about my work. Well...I was an advisor to the governor's staff in California on COVID response. I worked very long days for this and other work I was doing. We drafted some excellent information to help the public get through this pandemic. In the end, though, government just isn't suited for the proper application of real science. It always gets gummed up somewhere in the process. I actually pointed out to my son's high school principle that she was enforcing the masking guidance incorrectly in her school. When she asked how I knew that I said, "Because I wrote it." Didn't matter. She doubled-down and went even further into the wrong direction with it. Government...there's something strange about it - a sort of nihilists tact where damage must be done in spite of the true guidance that's been given. Eventually...I quit...

Not surprised but wonder why it took so long?!
