Fauci's Retirement Pay Will Exceed $350,000 Per Year: The Largest In U.S. Federal Government History

Almost as big a waste as all the moronic wars since 1945.

Excerpt:
"auditors at OpenTheBooks.com estimate Dr. Fauci’s annual retirement would exceed $350,000. Thereafter, his pension and benefits would continue to increase through annual cost-of-living adjustments.

Fauci has 55 years of service as a federal employee.

For the second year in a row, Fauci was the most highly compensated federal employee and out earned the president, four star generals, and roughly 4.3 million of his colleagues. As director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Fauci earned $434,312 in 2020, the latest year available, up from $417,608 in 2019.

Fauci is currently the Chief Medical Advisor to the President. However, his big salary boost came in 2004 under the George W. Bush Administration (as we reported earlier at Forbes) when Fauci received a “permanent pay adjustment” for his biodefense work. In January 2000, Fauci was also appointed to the Ready Reserve Corps, a corps of “officers on full-time extended active duty.”

$340,000-$350,000 each year in federal retirement payments
Federal employees with Fauci’s length of service can retire to earn “80 percent of [their] high-3 average salary, plus credit for [their] sick leave,” according to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.

In November, we filed a federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit to determine Dr. Fauci’s currently unpublished 2021 salary, job description, royalties, conflict of interest and financial disclosures, and employment contract. The case moved quickly and the federal judge ordered production starting on February 1, 2022.

So, at this point, we can use only the last three published years of his salary — 2018: $399,625; 2019: $417,608; and 2020: $434,312 — to calculate his potential retirement earnings.

Dr. Fauci earned a total of $1.252 million from 2018-2020 in salary as a federal employee.

If he’d left federal service at the end of FY2020, figuring 80% of his highest three-year average, would mean a federal pension of $333,745 a year, plus cost-of-living increases (($1,251,545/3) x 80% = $333,745)."

He has thrived on the government-pharma complex for decades! I'd almost argue he has earned this with his cunning. I can't...Because as an Objectivist I am in favor of people succeeding via REASONABLE self interest. This doesn't apply to Fauci. He should be in shackles. But, to his benefit, the American people treat pharma and vaccines as though it's a religion. In fact, Christianity has nothing on this movement. This is much more powerful...which is a sobering thought.

That doesn’t include book deals, speaking engagements, and “contributions” from China and Big Pharma that probably isn’t reported. $350k is a small portion.

His official pay and estimated retirement are but a pittance to the totl income he will eceive from the CCP and his holdings in big pharma and patents.

With any luck at all, he won't have many more years left to enjoy them. I'm not worries so much about the money as I am getting the SOB out of our lives! (Editing to add: I'd like "years" to be in the singular. Hope it will be.

As long as it is used by Halloween next year to save this country $350,000 annually, me a patriotic dino is willing to give up a contract I paid for with a funeral home
to have a coffin and a hole in the ground within the spacious graveyard property that surrounds an establishment that even has a flower shop at the gate.
I can get another one of those contracts, ah, NOT to be buried anywhere near a smirking for an already grossly overpaid traitor who calls himself "I am science."
He'd probably want that Schiff on his marker but I'd buy one that says, "He funded the Covid pandemic and the hideous torture of dogs."
Oh, and I'll even buy the rope.

Personally I would like to see Fauci be infected with the COVID that he helped formulate. Certainly NO RETIREMENT for him, at least out of MY pocket.

I should add that I've worked in the government-healthcare complex for many years. I saw things I won't mention. That's why I retired young and left California. You know when you see the devil. You want to get far away...

Once retired, if he tinkers with viruses, is he now able to be sued? He should have to turn over his pension for the death and harm his vaccine cocktail and vaccines have brought to people. He still co owns one vaccine company with Gates.I deteity while still tinkering with harmful concoctions.

I'd love it if they do to him what they did to me and my SS earnings.... I made too much and they only granted me 55.025% of the benefits I was to receive. How much did Tony get from all his drug stocks? I am sure that will carry him to his grave in style...

If only we didn't re-fill these positions as the bureaucrats retired or passed. That would end a huge, useless expense ripped straight out of our taxes, which we shouldn't be paying anyway.
