You'd Better Watch Out: Naughty or Nice, The Surveillance State Has a Naughty List, and You’re On It

Excerpt:
"“He sees you when you’re sleeping

He knows when you’re awake

He knows when you’ve been bad or good

So be good for goodness’ sake!”

—“Santa Claus Is Coming to Town”

Santa’s got a new helper.

No longer does the all-knowing, all-seeing, jolly Old St. Nick need to rely on antiquated elves on shelves and other seasonal snitches in order to know when you’re sleeping or awake, and if you’ve been naughty or nice.

Thanks to the government’s almost limitless powers made possible by a domestic army of techno-tyrants, fusion centers and Peeping Toms, Santa can get real-time reports on who’s been good or bad this year. This creepy new era of government/corporate spying—in which we’re being listened to, watched, tracked, followed, mapped, bought, sold and targeted—makes the NSA’s rudimentary phone and metadata surveillance appear almost antiquated in comparison.

Consider just a small sampling of the tools being used to track our movements, monitor our spending, and sniff out all the ways in which our thoughts, actions and social circles might land us on the government’s naughty list."

Let me count the ways:

"1. Tracking you based on your health status.
2. Tracking you based on your face
3. Tracking you based on your behavior
4. Tracking you based on your spending and consumer activities
5. Tracking you based on your public activities
6. Tracking you based on your social media activities (for example, the Gulch)
7. Tracking you based on your phone and online activities
8. Tracking you based on your social network
9. Tracking you based on your car
10. Tracking you based on your mail
and others

Fusion centers. Smart devices. Behavioral threat assessments. Terror watch lists. Facial recognition. Snitch tip lines. Biometric scanners. Pre-crime. DNA databases. Data mining. Precognitive technology. Contact tracing apps.

What these add up to is a world in which, on any given day, the average person is now monitored, surveilled, spied on and tracked in more than 20 different ways by both government and corporate eyes and ears.

Big Tech wedded to Big Government has become Big Brother.

Every second of every day, the American people are being spied on by a vast network of digital Peeping Toms, electronic eavesdroppers and robotic snoops."

I have long fought for reason and freedom. I have actually had black helicopters go over mine and a neighbor a few blocks away, also a freedom fighter. When Clinton had Echelon, a nurse friend and I daily called and used all the triggre words, ending with good morning Echelon. When Obama put us on e the bad list as whites, I daily e-mailed hisWwhitei House my thoughts of the day, until he took it down. I do not do Facebook, Twitter, or those media sites, I have no Alexa, no OnStar, I have a Faraday bag if i want my phone off the grim I have nothing, including the thernostat wifi hoked up. Now, I have minimized their tracking, but I will be more thean glad to tell them I am an Objectivist who has no desire for their lies and misinformation ;about science. . Any weapns were bought pre- registration days.I am likely on the Homeland Se. list, as an old WWII vet often sent me things on Rockefeller and Kissinger which came with Homeland Sec. warning. I have had info on dark operations left in my mailbox at night, telling me thinkgs I might use or investigate. Think is, we are not all on social media, those serious are out there smong the poeple. Yeah, we even had FBI on site when our town had a Tea Party even a few years ago on the twon square. They were so stupdily obvious we ignored them. I do not protest as friends did during Vietnam, I would never have been at the DC rally, too goofy. I want to be with the real patriots who fight in the open verbally, and exchange info on ;the QT. It is still our country, and anyone who threatens us is a dictator. I used to write letters to the editor about Saul Alinky and Obama, fact filled, but papers have too little circulation to bother. I recently went for an eye exam and got a rousing anti Biden discussion going with five others there, while waiting, and they were patriots for sure.

The common thread of all tyranny (no matter the brand) is the control of all aspects of life and the excuse that the individual owes the state extortion (taxes) to pay for the individual's right to exist. The ruling class has always sought means to control and know of all aspects of life to justify and identify its right to extort. In the past there has always been 'black markets' (where free people went to work) that arose to resist and avoid this effort. With digital currency and the need of all individuals to be on the digital platform in order to function it is now possible to eliminate the black market. The human race is in for some very dark times.

"Just about every branch of the government—from the Postal Service to the Treasury Department and every agency in between—now has its own surveillance sector, authorized to spy on the American people. For instance, the U.S. Postal Service, which has been photographing the exterior of every piece of paper mail for the past 20 years, is also spying on Americans’ texts, emails and social media posts. Headed up by the Postal Service’s law enforcement division, the Internet Covert Operations Program (iCOP) is reportedly using facial recognition technology, combined with fake online identities, to ferret out potential troublemakers with “inflammatory” posts. The agency claims the online surveillance, which falls outside its conventional job scope of processing and delivering paper mail, is necessary to help postal workers avoid “potentially volatile situations.”"

I had not contracted covid for the year prior to deciding to get the jab. I waited until I saw2 the results of the vaccines, and decided the upside was better than the downsides. But I woudlnt tell anyone whether to get it, like fauci and obama are doing.

Just meant that getting the jab is a state politically acceptable action, so you were moved down the list of the politically incorrect.

yes. I have decided against the booster shot for the time being. I feel its being sold for political reasons primarily, and for that reason I want to wait. Also, the shots dont seem to prevent you from getting COVID, but at best reduce the likelihood of some of the more severe symptoms.

A true vaccine keeps you from getting infected. Whats out there for COVID is not a true vaccine.

All the more reason to show your bow finger at every hyway sign saying "click it or get a ticket", "slow down" or "Booster Shots Ahead, Next Right"
Not to mention, TV news, The Radio, Billboards or those annoying little digital speed limit radar units.

PS...was "Checking the List" and saw your name there too!....consider myself in Good Company!
