Here in Alabama a slim majority no longer wear masks (like me) in places such as a grocery store and it appears only the maskless shows up at sporting events, yet hardly a day goes by
when I see some loony tunes wearing a mask alone in a car.
Well, hell's bells, at least here in Alabama we are all free to chose. But going to see a doctor you REALLY need to see? At least go with a mask in your pocket just in case it's required.
Had to wear one Monday to see the doctor who keeps tabs on my Type 2 diabetes with an appointment every four months. No way to count the times I lowered it to breathe air with oxygen in it.
When I waited for 10 or 15 minutes alone in the examination room for the doctor to finally walk in (he always says, "There he is."), I didn't wear that damn thing at all.
When he came in, I put it on since he is always wearing one. Hope he doesn't get sick.
I would ask the doctor about his thoughts on the effectiveness and about creating a mouth to mask Petrie dish. I asked a new doctor about his thoughts on HCQ. He responded more emotionally than I care for. Needless to say another Doctor will be selected for my next visit.
The doctor I respect agrees the election was rigged, can't stomach Quid Pro Quo Joe and and hates what he and his handlers are doing to this country.
Nevertheless, he recommended I take a Moderna booster shot during December. The two Moderna shots--jabs if you will--I took back in March and April has had no ill effect at all on me that I can perceive.
If me dino were young and healthy as I used to be, I see no reason to take the risk. I'm against the government forcing a supposedly free people to take any damn shot if they don't want to.
Being 74 with Type 2 diabetes, I'm free will willing to gamble with odds that think are in my favor. At least so far.
Everyone else I personally know who have taken THE JAB are all OK. Here and elsewhere I've read about those who did not wind up OK.

Me dino has fired past doctors for assorted reasons and dentists, too.
That goes for pharmacists. Two weeks ago I fired Walgreens over a service issue and went back to CVS, who I fired roughly 10 years ago for the same reason.
Not the same CVS. A new one that's way closer. So far that newer place has shorter lines and people there are nicer. So far. Just don't piss off the dino if you want him to use his debit card.
