I love how the administrators knew he wasn't at fault yet kept after him to issue an apology anyways. The student wisely pointed out that "If we continue to indulge this culture of performative denunciation, the very idea of an apology will lose its meaning."

What's completely paradoxical here is that these same admins are the ones pushing CRT which says that some people should apologize for something they didn't do and have no control over. So if apologies have no meaning, doesn't that kind of mean that CRT is similarly meaningless? [insert rolling eyes]
