I had a border patrol agent in my office yesterday. He is going to retire in seven months. He stated that the southern border agents were bored in 2020 - nothing to do. Then Biden got "elected" and all hell has broken lose. Now the agents hate their jobs and are beyond angry. He also stated that in the refugees coming from Afghanistan that no doubt there will be bad guys in the group - coming to a town near you. In Michigan Gov Bitchmer is welcoming thousands of said people. This is first hand information from a senior officer in the boarder patrol.

The problem is that we train no one in the duties involved in nation building and what happens when it fails catastrophically. I'm retired military, and we're trained to blow things up and kill people efficiently, not process visas. Likewise the BP is trained in border control and processing mostly nonviolent people, so this is the worst kind of mal-assignment for them, ever.
