I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch and while I don’t agree with all of Ayn Rand’s ideas and I don’t propose to understand them all completely, I do think this would be a better world if more people tried to learn. Just try.

Welcome, CAPTB. I hope you enjoy your travels in the Gulch. Founded to promote and discuss the movie trilogy based on Ayn Rand's novel "Atlas Shrugged", this Gulch has expanded to cover almost anything as expressed in the "Ask The Gulch!" invitation. Enjoy!

Welcome CAPTB. The two most influential and interpreted works in human history are The Bible and Tao te' ching. Rands "romantic", Atlas Shrugged, has been considered the second-most influential work in modern times.
In participating in this "Gulch", beginning nearly 8 years past, I exposed myself to new learning, of a precedent type, philosophy. In this environment I have been exposed to Rand's essay from 1961; The Objectivist's Ethics. I deem this is the most profound work in human history. The essay ties all the previous three together with a simplicity beyond complexity, and yet must be learned individual by individual. 20+ pages forever changed the way I perceive and conceptualize sentience. Good fortune!
