...Chew on that, my fellow Objectivists. I'm a fan of this kid. Sad to see America obsess over her for various stupid reasons I don't need to mention. I really hope she goes into a bright future - probably out of the spotlight.

For one: She invited a documentary crew to follow her around and has been present in front of every media member and late night talk show along with posing on covers of magazines with barely any clothes on. She has brought most of this on herself and bite off more than she can chew.
Now, in saying that, I think we all can sympathize and have been in a similar situation (relatively) and it can be overwhelming. This is a good lesson for her and all of us. One one hand, mental health is VERY important but on the other, take some responsibility for your actions (or in this case inactions).
