There is something America has lost, (it's been taken, divided and programed out of us) and savage bicameral tribes have appropriated...A common Bond, Solidarity...whether it's a love of freedom or a love for evil and slavery...it's what holds groups and countries together.

Asabiyyah - Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Asabiyyah

' Asabiyyah or ' asabiyya (Arabic: عصبيّة ‎, 'group feeling' or 'social cohesion') is a concept of social solidarity with an emphasis on unity, group consciousness, and a sense of shared purpose and social cohesion, originally used in the context of tribalism and clanism.

My thoughts after reading this historical article...thanks to Mccannon01

America and the Western World always assumes that any peoples can awaken from bicameral slumber and join the world of the consciously introspective...that's just not so.
As backward, demented or virtuous a culture is, it is those cultural perversions or virtues that holds it together.

I once said that the reason we cannot have a global society is that everyone on earth does not respect the property of others...I can see now that lack of respect goes even deeper than that.
Universally moral Conscious thought, introspective behavior and world view is beyond the propensity of most of this world.
Especially our would be rulers.

    Great article. Loved this summary

"It’s frightening to see American leadership pulling America apart at the seams. And it’s shocking to see our constitutional order ripped to shreds as the establishment undercuts property rights, imposes capricious public health regulations, mandates experimental medical treatments, and holds political prisoners. But the lesson of Ibn Khaldun is that these destructive policies are simply indications that a cycle that has been repeated through the ages is once again in motion. To watch history erupt in our own timeline is indeed terrifying, but it is part of the natural order of human societies."

Damn! This is a great summary of a philosopher that I have never come across. It reminds me of a cycle developed by Alexander F Tytler (b 1747, Scottland) that goes something like this:

From Bondage to Spiritual Faith to Great Courage to Liberty to Abundance to Selfishness to Apathy to Dependence and on to Bondage, etc. Tytler proposed that the average time to complete a cycle was about 200 years.
