For the next 15 years I had to NRA qualify with a revolver for assorted semi-retired security work I did off and on for the next 15 years, making my best money at a Wachovia data center (had a giant room for rows and rows of servers with a spare giant room for more servers to come) for a couple of years. I fully retired during the summer of 2013. Fully retired, sometimes I go to a nice indoor range in Hoover on the south end of Birmingham.

My parents were very strict about attending Mass each Sunday. As a kid who had fallen out of a tree, had to go to Mass on crutches when I could barely walk. Each summer my family of Dothan, Alabama, spent weekends at a Florida lake house an hour's drive due south. Each and every Sunday morning we'd dress up to attend Mass 30 minutes away. Got old even for a half-grown me dino already "a bad Catholic" at heart.

At least your church doesn't obligate you to attend church every Sunday like the Catholic one I was born into. Due to that I never joined the Boy Scouts because I couldn't go camping on this or that weekend.

You guys are right about the Vitamin D. My daughter takes 10K units a day because she is housebound. I walk my dog 4 blocks 4 times a day in the Texas sunshine. You can't get that much Vitamin D out of a bottle!

Vitamin D is a good thing. I take a lot of it because with calcium, it helps promote good bones. If it helps curb the virus... fine. I have decided not to wear a mask....been there done that. Maybe I’ll be banned from church ( our bishop officiated at Mayor Pete’s wedding). So he’s probably gleefully getting ready to put restrictions back on. Well, he can do them without me.

IMAGINE a UK who learned that High Vitamin D3 helped. So they are giving like 500iu/day to those in senior living facilities. WHEN THE NUMBER SHOULD BE 5,000iu/day for most, and 10,000iu for some (at least for several months).
