If the GOP wins back the con-gress and the POTUS, then they will continue to follow the same old path: big government spending and bankruptcy.
Of course, GOP control is not likely because the left still counts the votes.
There are no heroes in DC. None of them have the guts to do what is required for solvency.
Unless there is a reversal of the 2020 election results, this is already a banana dictatorship.

It will take armed action by patriots to change that. Riots are nothing by comparison.
I suggest here that Trump remains anathema to the violent, race-driven SJW elements in this nation, and that a 2024 Trump victory would have the same result as a full and total acquittal of Derek Chauvin in the George Floyd case. I'd like to know if anyone here can imagine what insanity would have transpired in nearly all major US cities in that event.
Brandon Smith, author of the linked article, most assuredly does—and points analogously at recent scenes in S. Africa.
If Trump or another Trump-approved GOP nominee wins the White House in 2024, then the "armed action by patriots" you suggest will probably be focused on just keeping the enraged BLM / ANTIFA mobs at bay and out of their own neighborhoods—just as whites and east Indians were recently doing in Durban and Johannesburg suburbs.
That isn't exactly the point Brandon Smith was making. Smith didn't seem to know what would touch off rioting à la S. Africa here in the US, but it doesn't take much to put two plus two together and foresee that a Trump victory in 2024 is what would surely fulfill Smith's premonitions.
If deep state counts the votes as they did in 2020, and Trump isn't deep state, then he has no chance to be declared the winner in 2024. If there is another GOP candidate, it is likely that they will be deep state controlled just as the Dem candidates are. The candidates for con-gress are virtually all deep state controlled selections. The choices for judges are virtually all deep state controlled selections.
The federal government is controlled by corrupt looters.
Armed action by patriots is the only way that freedom will be regained and the constitution obeyed, imo.
War or serfdom. That is the choice.
Montana, for example, is more solidly Trumpist since the 2020 election than in 2016, including landslide Democrat governorship elimination. Montana is now a Constitutional Carry state thanks to 2020—never would have happened under a Democrat (deep-state) governor like Gianforte's predecessor Bullock.
I sincerely believe that many other states, as many as 20, have enacted serious election reform that will eliminate many 2020 abuses (eg. SJW ballot harvesting/curing and zero-ID ballots). So I think my vote, at least, will be even more secure than it was in either 2016 or 2020. I don't share your pessimism about that particular point—that people’s votes necessarily mean nothing in the future.
Having been screwed once in 2020 in several swing states, I doubt Trumpists will be caught quite so flatfooted next time around. But we may not need wait for 2024 to address Brandon Smith's premonitions. If deep-state SJWs aren't happy about 2022 election results, Smith's S. African scenario may materialize in front of our eyes sooner than either of us thought possible.
This leads to a Götterdämmerung scenario closer to what you apparently envision: the Biden administration overplays its hand and crams too many SJ-agenda reforms (e.g. CRT, "transgender equality," “restitution,” semiauto handgun/rifle confiscation, etc.) onto an already simmering Trumpist electorate—or seizes upon fomented South-African-style riots after losing an election to Trump/Trumpists as a last-ditch, martial-law mandate to impose those SJ agenda “reforms” by armed force. Then I would expect the type of "armed action by patriots" that you refer to.
In any event I believe we will first see Brandon Smith's South African-style rioting in major US cities--and sooner than many thought possible. .
