As Thousands Protest Freedom from Mob Rule in Cuba

"Upon leaving the fantasy land that is Old Havana’s tourist district, the luxury cruise ship passengers were able to get a glimpse of Cuba’s reality. Ugly low rise and high rise apartment buildings of Soviet realism design filled the shoreline as the ship passed. It was a perfect summer evening, the sun was setting on the Port of Havana, and yet something was missing."

"Earlier that afternoon, a passenger on the pool deck expressed admiration for the “the struggle” of the Cuban people against “crass commercialism,” while sipping a frozen margarita. He could not see it. That morning, the economic gurus on the ship’s elevator were complaining about “innovation taking jobs.” They could not see it. Many dining room guests gazing at the harbor could not see it. All of their minds had been dimmed by American socialist literacy programs."

That was a plan hatched by Democrats, and true to form, they abandoned their allies when they are no longer useful to their irrational intentions.

Are you sure they weren't communists boarding private aircraft to abandon Texas' legislation for fair elections?

I saw, briefly on the news, government people or those that could afford it, boarded private jets to fly to Florida...why didn't that stand with the people?...or, were they the communist?!?!?!

Of course, I think there may need to be some organized internal force, but who can trust those guys, especially if they're backed by Obama.

Dictators are typically a bit reluctant to say "oh yea, sure, I quit"...... it doesnt' end well for them unless they like swinging from a rope or dodging bullets blindfolded.

Or Hong Kong? I'm not so sure, the Castro regime is pathetically weak and Cubans have relatively easy access to grass roots support in America.

The crackdown has already started. It will fail just like Tiananmen square did in 1989.

I suspect there is little to be optimistic about except that nature must eventually prevail. It only takes a few courageous and ingenuis leaders to create the badly needed conditions for individual rights.

I am not optimistic about Cuba ever returning to Freedom. It seems the 'fighters' all immigrated to
    America.
