I have many friends one might call "right wing". Among those they often talk of "when TSHTF" occurs. But, I repeatedly remind them that it probably won't be like that. It will be incremental. The incrementalism employed is brilliant because most Americans aren't trained to see it. If many of these friends would shut their pie holes, turn off their phones and spend a couple days just observing they'd see we're already pretty deep down the rabbit hole. Censorship. Doxing. Threats of violence. Insane laws. Commonplace police brutality. All one has to do is open their eyes...

"The maker of this film apparently doesn't see that it applies more to the left than to Trump." I doubt that very much. The Neo Communists taking over America and many others have been brain washed to believe Nazis are right wing and will never equate it with themselves. Also, Trump and his supporters are labeled "right wing extremists" making the false connection from Hitler to Trump an easy leap. They will never actually compare the reality of a Nazi rally with a Trump rally and see they are clearly and entirely different. The false "Trump = Hitler" narrative to a lefty is a programmed mindless assumption with no need of any thought whatsoever. Hard to beat that to awake the "woke".
