Totalitarian movements, when they reach this stage, do not simply stop on their own. The "Unvaccinated" Question.

Excerpt:
"In the USA, we are being banned by universities. Our children are being banned from public schools. In New York, the new “Excelsior Pass” will allow New Normals to attend cultural and sports events (and patronize bars and restaurants, eventually) secure in the knowledge that the Unvaccinated have been prevented from entering or segregated in an “Unvaccinated Only” section. The pass system, designed by IBM, which, if history is any guide, is pretty good at designing such systems (OK, technically, it was Deutsche Hollerith Maschinen Gesellschaft, IBM’s Nazi-Germany subsidiary), was launched this past weekend to considerable fanfare.

And this is only the very beginning.

The issue, at the moment, is the Unvaccinated Question, and the public rituals that are being performed to make the New Normal ideology “reality,” and what to do about those of us who refuse to participate in those rituals, who refuse to forswear “old normal” reality and convert to New Normalism so that we can function in society without being segregated, criminalized, or “diagnosed” as “sociopathic” or otherwise psychiatrically disordered.

For us “conspiracy-theorizing reality deniers,” there is no getting around this dilemma. This isn’t Europe in the 1930s. There isn’t anywhere to emigrate to … OK, there is, temporarily, in some of the US states that have been staging rebellions, and other such “old normal” oases, but how long do you think that will last? They’re already rolling out the “mutant variants,” and God only knows what will happen when the long-term effects of the “vaccines” kick in.

No, for most of us denizens of the global capitalist empire, it looks like the New Normal is here to stay. So, unless we are prepared to become New Normals, we are going to have to stand and fight. It is going to get rather ugly, and personal, but there isn’t any way to avoid that. Given that many New Normals are our friends and colleagues, or even members of our families, it is tempting to believe that they will “come to their senses,” that “this is all just a hysterical overreaction,” and that “everything will go back to normal soon.”

This would be a monumental error on our parts … very possibly a fatal error.

Totalitarian movements, when they reach this stage, do not simply stop on their own. They continue to advance toward their full expressions, ultimately transforming entire societies into monstrous mirror-images of themselves, unless they are opposed by serious resistance. There is a window at the beginning when such resistance has a chance. That window is still open, but it is closing, fast. I can’t tell you how best to resist, but I can tell you it starts with seeing things clearly, and calling things, and people, exactly what they are.

Let’s not make the same mistake that other minorities have made throughout history when confronted with a new totalitarian ideology. See the New Normals for what they are, maybe not deep down in their hearts, but what they have collectively become a part of, because it is the movement that is in control now, not the rational individuals they used to be. Above all, recognize where this is headed, where totalitarian movements are always headed. (See. e.g., Milton Mayer’s They Thought They Were Free: The Germans 1933-45.)

No, the Unvaccinated are not the Jews and the New Normals are not flying big Swastika flags, but totalitarianism is totalitarianism, regardless of which Goebbelsian Big Lies, and ideology, and official enemies it is selling. The historical context and costumes change, but its ruthless trajectory remains the same.

Today, the New Normals are presenting us with a “choice,” (a) conform to their New Normal ideology or (b) social segregation. What do you imagine they have planned for us tomorrow?"

I was JUST at my doctor for my annual physical. I had COVID in September and have immunity. They are now recommending that people who have proven antibodies NOT get the shot... of course that contradicts the advice of the pharma-government industrial complex LOL

I recently had a face-to-face(!!) appointment with my Doc. He recommended the Covid shots and I reminded him that our whole family had survived a bout of Covid in October, and immunizations have been around for a hundred years, but getting your own natural immunity has worked well for millions of years. In addition, my daughter is studying Bio-Engineering at a (fairly conservative) southern university and has had three professors warn her not to take the relatively untested vaccines.

The majority of Docs are brainwashed by their 'education'. They are a another type of craftsman with little, if any, genius or creativity.
They deserve about the same level of respect as other craftsmen - except they swore an oath to do no harm and many are not honoring that oath.

It seems to me that if your body already has immunity and has fought off coronovirus on its own alrady, there is no reason to use some foreign substance to try and create immunity.

Makes sense to me, makes sense t you, but you and I aren't in the convincing-people-to-take-shots-to-reinforce-our-control business.

I decided to take the vaccine on my own after waiting months to see what happened to others who took it. It seemed to me that the side effects were very slight compared with the effects of covid 19 IF I happened to get it. People decide to buy insurance just in case they get into an accident, even though the likelihood of actually getting into the accident is low.

I tell people who try and convince me to take it to protect "other people" that the "other people" should take it to protect themselves and leave me alone

There is zero data on the longer term side effects. This may not be of concern to you, term2, unless the longer-term effects become evident in months, not years.
(I have no knowledge of your specific health or if that makes you more or less likely to fear effects of covid.)
Today the virus is no more dangerous than the flu and well understood supplements significantly improve the odds of not having a serious reaction to covid (and to the flu.)
Taking the untested experimental vaccine is an unnecessary risk.
Government is not our friend. Big Pharma is not our friend.
I wish the best of health to you.

So far, the immediate side effects were nil. I am 75, so from what I read, covid would NOT be a good thing for me to survive easily. If there is some long term effect in a dozen years, its probably not going to affect me as I will be in the ground at that point most likely.
For what its worth, I survived for a whole year without the vaccine, so I would say that the covid scare was a bit overblown. True that I didnt go to nightclubs, cruise ships, and things like that during the past year, but I did live a pretty normal life- and didnt get the disease.

The insurance analogy is not valid in this-
taking out insurance against fire/flood/theft would not increase the risk of fire/flood/theft.

Data is now coming out on adverse effects on people after being vaccinated. You are right- chance of these side effects is very slight- on average, and even for many people, there will be no problem.
But, there are enough exceptions to be of concern for every individual.

One particular example, the risk of getting blood clots after vaccination appears to be above that of getting blood clots without vaccination.

If I wanted to be cynical (it is easy) I'd say that the concentration of vaccination risk in the over 70 years of age group would have been carefully calculated by the CCP before the 'go-ahead'.

well, I had no side effects after the first dose. The second dose gave me joint pains and fatigue for a couple of days, but now things are ok. I didnt get covid for a year on my own without the vaccine, so who knows if the vaccine even works. Being 75, it seemed like a reasonable bet to take the vaccine that millions have taken so far. Did I wonder about some serious side effects that I might have- yes.

My thinking, as well as wishes, is that you are ok, the worst is the first couple of weeks. Decision making on events with very low probabilities is tricky, especially when the data is so foggy.

And now the “experts” still require masks and distancing. I thought the vaccine means I can’t transmit or receive the virus. That was the reason to take it. U don’t think the mask has anywhere like 94% reduction in infection

Symbolic. Independence Day! That image of 75 million of us baring our faces and burning our masks as one fills me with hope that such a gesture might convince enough young people that Individual Rights is worth fighting for.

Elsewise I’m afraid that Ayn Rand’s inversion wherein the individual has no rights and the people in government control every aspect of their lives will have been reached.

It will take a lot more than a symbolic gesture to win liberty again, just as it did in 1776. Patriots must pledge and be willing to give their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor. (Making the traitors give up theirs first requires careful action - it didn't work for the Confederacy in spite of their commitment.)

I never wear it outside of private establishments. I think that a proprietor can specify behavioral requirements within HIS establishment. I can choose to NOT patronize his business if I want. Before masks were required everywhere, Costco on their own required masks, and I simply didnt go to costco.

My state (SC) just shut down mask mandates and some companies (Lowes, for example) immediately removed the "Masks Required" signs. Companies that don't, won't get my business. Particularly restaurants that want you to wear a mask to & from your seat. That's the worst kind of nonsense.Having designated 'mask-free' zones only at tables in restaurants is a lot like having cordoned-off peeing sections in a public pool.

thats funny. it is pretty stupid to wear masks only when in motion, but not when seated. I routinely now do NOT wear a mask when existing the restaurant. What are they going to do- throw me out?

Interesting that they want to require covid vaccinations, but no vaccinations for other diseases. What about the influenza vaccine, or the pneumonia vaccine, or what about keeping HIV positive people from flying, going to restaurants, hotels, etc. HIV is a lot more potent than coronavirus.

Hmmm. Interesting point about HIV. It's been a while since all the hoopla died down, but I believe some states have laws passed preventing any kind of discrimination towards HIV positive people.

Tucker Carlson had an excerpt from his on-line daytime show with a virologist talking about that the vaccines should give immunity to the Covid virus. But, those who already have antibodies or who have already had the recovered from the virus shouldn't get the jab because it could lead to further health problems. It seems that the feds are restricting which Big Pharma company gets the most distribution in the states particularly here in Arizona. The state/county clinics get the Pfizer vaccine while the local commercial pharmacies get the J & J vaccine but they are booked two months out due to the supply. My wife and I aren't going to waste gasoline to drive between 150/200 miles to get the Pfizer vaccine. We will wait even though my wife is an RN and classified as a first responder. I'm worried about my son who lives in Nebraska and has and pre-existing health condition. My wife informed him that he should consult with his physician before getting the jab. Speaking of such individuals with such health considerations are they going to be parias?

I have ignored protocol since day one. Early on, I did not trust what I was being told, I do have a history of biolgby in college I never sheltered, at first took the Vette for spins, went shopping at any hour, no mask, no sickness either. Then the shut down, and had to wear a mask to get in, word the thinnest and pulled it out from my face to avoid asthma. I knew it was a lie, all of it. I soon tracked the NIH and CDC involvement in that lab in China. Then I realizzed that the virus they wanted, which would have required an antidote, was not what they got in time to get Trump out of the WH. It was best fought with natural immunity and vitamins to avoid it. We continued to meet with the same group, no masks, even when mandated, to talk politics and cars, over 25 of us. None of us got sick, nor vaccinated! We are also all retired! Then I came across the little tidbit on a mfg website, that people would die in the months post vaccination, expect it, they said, but don't blame the virus. No, more research showed it is what the mRNA does to our immunte system that kills us, after we meet another strain of covid and what is left of natural immune system attacks the body as the enemy. Autopsies were done in Britain on such vaxers, and found organs destroyed by immune system. A doctor in Italy went on air, pleading for his countrymen to nnot take the vaccine. What is next, Biden's invatation to overwhelm the boder camer a bit early, eveyone, byt te invaders would be vaccinated. New strain, dead people from exposure to new strain, not covered by RNA shot, no, that was the plan. Ther virus was not good enough to kill enough, but the vacine was the back up plan. Wait for it, thus the CDC calling it "impending doom." They know, they built it, and they no millions to billions are meant to die. It worked on cats when they tried it earlier on them.

I am sympathetic to people with compromised immune systems who are faced with the choice of getting vaccinated or possibly catching the COVID virus. The long term effects of the vaccines are largely unknown at this point, and there are some who suffer very uncomfortable reactions to the shots. The serious long term cardiopulmonary effects of the virus itself have shown up in a significant number of survivors, so the "99% no problem" statement is not quite true.

Personally, I have a lifelong resistance to inoculation aftereffects, and a very robust immune system. Chances are if I contracted the virus, I probably wouldn't even know it. I have taken the shots, with zero aftereffects, nonetheless. However, I view this as a personal choice, not to be enforced by government mandate.
