When our daughter was about 3, I was placing an order at McD, actually inside back then. I paid and suddenly our girl was not beside me. She was across the room, sitting with a truck driver, having quite the conversation. I asked if she knew she was not to talk to strangers, and she said he told me his name and I told him mine, we are not strangers! How do you argue with that logic.? The only time I grabbed her, was at Yellowstone, when a coyote ventured into the visitor area, and she started to run to it. Kids love to interact, this whole faux virus crap has put people into a Nazi Germany mentality. Sad.

Leftists are a group of unsavory characters, and should be avoided at all costs. They should have to wear armbands for easy identification. They are nosey, controlling, violent, uncompromising, and just pains in the ass.

My husband used to refer to these nosy, overbearing and controlling "neighbors" as
    "Gladys Kravitz".

Even with a dog is all up to date with shot, all you need is one kids mom to complain to the school and to the local city hall. I had a 6 month old golden that jumped up as all puppy's do on a kid, left a red mark with his toenail on the kids forearm that was playing with him - Didn't break the skin. Next thing you know the city's animal control was knocking on my door wanting to take the dog since he had a "complaint" against him as being aggressive. If a person knows anything at about goldens know they have no aggressive bones in their bodies, especially at 6 months old. Since he was a puppy they agreed to let me quarantine at home for 25 days, but since he now has a "record" as being a bad dog, if it they get another complaint they would confiscate and euthanize. Gotta love Karens and government overreach.

My Fred is a Texas cowdog (Terrier). Protective, intelligent, strong minded, and faster than a speeding bullet. He adores children. Even sleeps with my granddaughter, who adores him, when she visits me. Even our tiny Adalyn who is 18 months old lets him lick her face.

The whole premise of stranger danger is wrong. Strangers are good. Criminals almost never act where there is a crowd of strangers witnessing them. If kids are in trouble, they should turn to a group of strangers to help them connect with their parents and teachers. The thing is not to go off alone with strangers. That's important, but actually a rare peril. Most people who abuse children are someone the children and their families knows.

She apologized when I told her most of them and their parents were patients at my clinic. She admitted she was too when she heard my name.

I explained to the worker not to frighten the children when it is someone known to them. Last year these same children were waving me over with Fred so they could pet him. She wasn't there then. I don't qualify as 'Stranger/Danger' and they knew it.

The worker in the yard, screamed, 'Stranger/Danger'. I looked at her at said, 'Not hardly'. The children wanted to touch Fred through the fence. I explained to them not to touch a strange doggie unless he had his tags on which meant he was vaccinated and healthy.
