"A Texas nonprofit landed a federal contract worth up to $530 million to manage the influx of migrant children at the southern border - after recently hiring a Biden transition official.

The organization, Family Endeavors, won the no-bid contract just months after hiring Biden transition official, Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, as its senior director for migrant services and federal affairs, according to Axios, which notes that the deal is the second largest ever awarded by the agency overseeing the migrant child program. It's worth more than 12 times the group's most recently reported annual budget."

Totally Corrupt Government.

This really caught my attention. Just talked to a friend who shred with me that the City of Austin,Tx has notified certain 501(c)3's if their Board of Directors is all white their funding will be reduced by 2/3rds but if they are black there will be no change.

      Racism in Austin?
Austin has been supporting leftists for at least 20 years that I know of.
      So it's leftist anti-white racism.
Racism against blacks has been on the razors edge of extinction for 40+ years.
I haven't seen any except by loons, politicians, or police in 30+ years.
Anti-white racism has been a near constant on tv for 25 years and anti-male sexism for nearly that long.
The Austin city government is filled with irrational hypocrites, like most big city governments. They are politicians, after all.

I'm going to split some hairs with you on the issue of racism against blacks: the Democrats vigorously oppose school choice in minority districts, to keep their children from getting a real education and becoming intelligent voters; they encourage rioters to destroy black owned small businesses, to make sure their existing minority cronies don't see any competition; they strenuously oppose any black conservative candidate, painting them as "race traitors" for trying to convince their community that they don't need to depend on government handouts. It's just a different flavor of racism.

Thanks for the details.👍 Part of the divide and conquer approach. Keep us all angry at each other so we don't realize who is manipulating us to control us.
(That's why I noted politicians in my exceptions.)

Austin was a great place 30 years ago - until the liberal idiots destroyed it and are still trying to bury it - glad I got out of it when I did.

        Me too +1
I left in 1979 and never looked back...still have friends there and they are mostly disgusted with the way things have turned out there...in the mid-70s, Austin was about the music, drinking and having a good time

I drove through the wrong part of Austin, apparently, during the winter, a couple of years ago. The ambient temperature was mild, perhaps 62F. It was like the Zombie Apocalypse ... there were about 300 or so 'human beings' some in blanket rolls on the sidewalks, many shambling about in the streets . . . moving solo or in packs. Thank God that the traffic lights were mostly green and I could just keep rolling. In hindsight, I am thinking that the mapping software on my digital device could have had some Option to "Avoid the Zombie Zones" -- and that would have been very helpful. I understand that there is mapping software that can be used to avoid the "Feces Zones" in San Francisco and other large regions where the collectivists have control.

Not JUST Texas, Arizona too. I live in the south end of Phoenix. Yesterday, in the local newspaper, was an article stating the migrants are staying (1,200) in hotels just down the street from my house. This same contract. Someone is making tons. I'm looking to move, have to pay for a hotel while "migrating" to another state. I've lived in the US my entire life. I do not see equanimity in this process.
