Watching the News Make You Feel Crazy?

So, as my coffee was brewing I watched the news this morning. All of it was about all the vaccination sites, that they are vaccinating teenagers who want to "do their part" in stopping this pandemic. One doctor (who happened to have an eye twitch above his mask) was interviewed saying that all these children who are experiencing isolation and depression will be helped by all getting vaccinated so we can allow (not my words) them to socialize. They interview these different people who state now they can visit people again after getting vaccinated. The reporter was wearing two masks - I noticed that neither one was fitting correctly. I was recently in a meeting where an official stated they are looking into getting a very famous children's show character (you all know this character) to be involved in PSAs getting the vaccine.

So...what gives? Those who produce and study the vaccines will admit they don't stop the spread. They stopped the J&J and AZ versions for reactions that pale in comparison to the mRNA that remain approved (see VAERS data for this). They've trained so many injecting newbies (incorrectly) that I know they are injecting the vaccines in the incorrect locations on the arm often (seen this firsthand). I know a retired school teacher who's injecting people. There is ZERO legal recourse if you have a reaction (because of that, doctors tend to ignore if you've been harmed too). Now, the news is openly discussing how this will turn into an endless series of annual boosters (like the flu shot! Yeay!). The vaccine is starting to look like an open-ended deal going forward. (Holy shite). Pandemics like this typically fade away on their own after a couple years. (I think this one will take three years due to our actions to slow the surge hitting health care facilities - so be it). This is all clearly just an effort to control people, eliminate basic rights (get your shot or you can't travel...go to school...hug grandma...), and make a lot of money. This seems to be a great example, for my fellow Objectivists, of unreasonable self-interest by a handful of megalomaniacs. There is so much misinformation being broadcast that it feels apocalyptic to me.

Ok, I'm finishing this first cup of jo so I've got to get to work. Let's all watch in wonder at what's unfolding before our Objectivist eyes. If you really believe these vaccines are really safe and effective, great. I sincerely hope it works out well for you, me and all of our loved ones.

Well, I hope we don't regret these actions down the line. I've never taken a flu vaccine because they only became available after I'd had the flu in 1957, 1959, 1970, and 1983. Now I've had the virus in 2021. I do however take the pneumonia vaccine. I've had two so far.

That's the Prevnar, right? That was the last one my dad took just before he finally came down with his autoimmune disorder. But, just before that one he took the "heavy-duty" flu shot they market to seniors. He was a vaccine junkie and, as I warned him, it eventually killed him at the age of 75. Last four years he was kept going with regular blood transfusions because his body was producing antibodies at such a rate they'd attack his muscular neurons. Everything in moderation...

I didn't have a choice on the second pneumonia vaccine, Sister Salome wouldn't let me leave the hospital without it. Ever try to say 'No' to a Nun? But I think my second shot in 2017was milder than the Prevnar that my daughter in law took in 2020 and had bad repercusions from. I didn't have any reaction. I haven't even had a cold since 1984,, my first pneumonia vaccine.

In that case, saying 'No' to a Nun is something you should practice. If you think the answer should be yes, say no first to show you can do it. You can change your mind on a vax later.
I am inclined to think that the pneumonia vaccine is effective and safe, that's not my opinion on all.
