Somewhat edited from The Babylon Bee article in the link~~
"The last thing we need is a bunch of California sissies moving into our beautiful state of Texas and screwing everything up and turning or state blue," said Governor Abbott. "Too many Californians have entered our said. Too many liberal ideas have already been proposed. This must end. It's time to open Texas 100%.

Among Related Articles ({} below the breaches in this here Texas fence {}) one of 'em be 'bout Governor Cuomo agreeing that if lock-downs are lifted then Democrat governors will no longer get nearly as much time in the spotlight.
PLUS! Trump says his Civil War will be even better than Lincoln's.
In the Must Read sidebar the most pertinent of four articles asks "Is You Cat Actually Satan?" but you should find "The Equality Act Explained" of some interest also.
Whoa, me dino thought "equality " is all about libtarded "equity" these days. Never mind, I don't write for The Babylon Bee.
As for Satanic cats, a stray I adopted during the Seventies once gifted me with several slaughtered baby bunnies deposited before my front door.
Do believe I was supposed to both feel honored and to eat them

FLASH! (This added an hour or so later. Remember old movies displaying how newspapers would put out special editions?)

What an excellent retort! I'll remember to use it if ever some woke joke pops his "check your privilege" BS to me. Doubt it will ever happen to me in Alabama but someone else reading this and living elsewhere may benefit.
Whoa, second thought. On the other hand I live close to Birmingham and I recall that surveillance video of Atlanta Dem poll workers cheating with hidden suitcases crammed with ballots in my ruined neighboring state of Georgia.
Also on the other hand, after my reciting exactly what you wrote, a woke joke may still call me a racist. Think I'll be rolling around on the floor laughing at that pinhead, though.

    I am privileged.

I am privileged to live in the greatest nation to ever grace this planet.
I am privileged to live in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
I am privileged to be able to grow up in a land founded on freedom and liberty and where most still respect those values.
I am privileged to be able to think for myself.
I am privileged to be an American.

And so are you. And if you don't want to be an American who loves freedom, I invite you to move and leave this country. I've lived outside this nation and seen the grass on the other side. Its dry and brown and infested with weeds. And I wasn't even living under a murderous dictator, a military junta, or a communist hegemony.

Yes, well said, but say what you wrote here to a Leftist, he, she or it will~with their cognitive dissonance kicking in~call you a racist. Say as much to one of the "woke' persuasion into gender pronoun denial, that whatever that person really is will tell you that "You need to check you privilege." At this point you may want to pop back with "Well, at least you didn't call me a racist" but that woke joke will most likely retort, "What do you think I just did?"

An honest person accepts the notion of cognitive dissonance - where something doesn't appear to fit with what they are familiar with - and pursues a resolution based on truth and reality. They place truth over their ideology. Leftists have abandoned truth in favor of ideology. They can't reconcile the notion that Reality says something very different than their precious ideology because they refuse to abandon false notions in favor of true.

It takes humility to admit one was wrong. It takes the prime realization that the only real thing one can change is hisself/herself - not others. That's often a pill that many just can't get down.

Ditto on the Duck Duck. When I go online I open up my Firefox with Duck Duck Go as my search engine. Microsoft opens up automatic. I close it and go to Firefox

y'all are getting the California turds. We here in Florida are getting the Northeastern turds. I say get your vaccines and open it all up. I have had both Moderna shots. If opening up infects some of us it is still better than the slow choking of the liberal left

It also includes a disturbing sequence where a woman freaks out on her TV, as she sees Fauccis mask at the neckline moving, it is bizarre and weird, to say the least. Deep Fake? Who knows....

maybe a leftist doesnt want to think about or accept what they are doing, but deep down inside I think its the evil coming out. Leftists are NOT nice people and should be treated as such.

Oh I disagree. They know exactly what they are doing. They havent abandoned any of their ideas, they just want a batch of new meat to pay for the same policies. Its plain evil. There should be a special tax on expats from any of the blue states that want to infect the red states.

The government should NEVER have put mandatory lockdown restrictions in the first place. They could tell people about whats dangerous and whats not, and let each person make up his/her mind. Its not the government's fault if a person catches an invisible virus. There are some things that will reduce the chances of catching it, and we all should review what they are and make an asssessment of the risks.

Thank you President Trump for forging ahead with the vaccine which is what will stop this pandemic in its tracks- far better than fauci and quadruple mask wearing.

I can relate. I just finished my taxes and annual budget review. I am good for now, after retiring (Going Galt, in my own way) but who knows what damage can be done in the next two to eight years. Inflation out of control due to national debt? A 'wealth tax'? You know if that starts, it won't stop until anyone not on welfare (and therefore under their direct control) will be considered 'wealthy'.

"I even count the years I "might" have left, in hopes they can't accomplish full destruction until after my days are over." You are not alone in this thought process. My strategy has been changing from apparently wasting my time trying to enlighten others (especially libtards in my own family) to a strategy of surviving in relative comfort (go Galt) as the whole thing goes Atlas Shrugged.

I know exactly what you are saying and "feeling..." rainman...and yes, I agree and "feel" that way too. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with this awful dread, even though all is going pretty well for us, personally. I can't help but feel it's all going to crash down, as soon as they figure out a way to make it happen, even to the successful. I guess it's "misery loves company" at an all-time high. Or low. I even count the years I "might" have left, in hopes they can't accomplish full destruction until after my days are over.
