Avoiding Vaccine Conversations?

What is your favorite response to avoid answering about your vaccine status? I do not intend to receive the COVID-19 “vaccine,” for a variety of reasons. In a time of vaccine passports, and when I am asked about my vax status by colleagues and acquaintances on a routine basis (so far only in passing casual conversation), I would like to come up with a few responses. Preferably responses that avoid the issue, avoid publicity and controversy, avoid unnecessarily straining relationships.

I doubt our USA Government will mandate vaccination, but other countries might, and private property owners (e.g., businesses) might. That will be a deal-breaker for me. In the meantime, just for avoiding vaccine conflict in casual conversation (even direct interrogation), what are your favorite retorts?

When I was walking my dog this AM a couple who live a few houses from me were walking in on the same street going in the opposite direction across the street, I said good morning to them and the elderly wife ( both are in their late 70's) immediately put on her mask despite being 15 to 20 feet from me. I ask her why she did that her reply was that they lost so many friends to Covid. I told her that the virus couldn't exist outside in the open air (the wind was blowing at the time) and that the news media is scaring people into thinking they needed masks on even outside. Her husband wasn't wearing a mask a nodding his head in agreement with me. I was going to tell her that here in Arizona on windy days that there are pollens, dust, and other spores in the air but if I did that she would have put her mask back on after she took it off to talk to me at the distance we were at.

I fo not start controvery, but am not above jumping into the mix. My usual response about taking vaccine, "No way in hell!" Tell them I hope it works for them, but they are safe, no matter what I do. I do not add that they will likely die or become zombies in a year or so.
