I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch. I am from another planet and yet I am from the "Midwest USA" as well. The flight was very long, yet it was definitely worth it. Much elation and also much sorrow. I have some regrets, yet even those were worth it. I ran across The Fountainhead many many years ago when I first "left home".
I understood it. I started to become more alive to myself just from the ideas that were being put forth from the main character. It felt to me like Truth.
