Deformed as capitalism has become, skill, knowledge, talent, and hard work can still pay. Too bad the government will take such a huge chunk of this guy's paycheck.Permalink|

He throws chain to hold the pipe while the new pipe threads. Once the pipe is threaded, the lifting yoke raises slightly to release pressure on the holding collar and it is removed, the pipe is lowered to the bottom and the drilling collar is placed in motion to start the downward drilling. To pull pipe, the reverse process is used, During this process, special care must be taken to ensure the holding collar is secure before unthreading the pipe. Otherwise, once the pipe is unthreaded, the remaining pipe will fall to the bottom and now it becomes a laborious process of "fishing" for the end of the pipe to get it reconnected.Permalink|
