The Conservative Voice of Personal Liberty - RIP Rush Limbaugh

"In philosophy, individualism means our lives are our highest value; our rights are a moral principle. In economics, it means that we produce and freely trade value for value with others for mutual personal profit. In politics, it means justice and protection from the threat of government force. The domain of The Rush Limbaugh Show is almost entirely conservative Republican politics, to a fault. But he is also a staunch defender of free market economics and the founding principles of individualism at the root of American exceptionalism. He fights his rhetorical battles in the muck of politics because that’s where cultural trends manifest themselves, the swamp where the beast used to dominate, and where the mass audience is, the collectivists’ dreaded bourgeoisie."

The phrases he invented are inspired. The term "drive-by media" is a conceptualization that integrates several ideas into bomb throwing (figurativly) activists who pretend to be objective journalists.

Some day Rush will be replaced, and his show will go on. I think that he would want that. The person who replaces him will do a great job, but never up to the level that Rush did it. Rest in peace, Rush. You were such a part of my life for a very long time.

I have my usual radio station on right now wondering what will fill the airwaves.

Lately, however, I've always shut it off when there was no Rush and opted to listen to music instead.

It's just curiosity holding me here right now.

Rush was the best friend and teacher I never met and I loved him.

What a sweet tribute. I have a long-term friend who never quite bought into Rand's philosophy, but the last few years found her enthusiastically listening to Rush daily. I found out about his passing before her and when I shared the news, we cried together. What a great loss ... for so many of us.

The Left Media Smears are some of the most disgusting inhuman drivel I have ever heard. And notice they mentioned nothing at all about Rush giving St, Jude's a million dollars under the promise that they would not reveal his donation. Our media is so sick today that we must break them and make them disappear. What happens when they change and go against those that they are currently on their side?

My pleasure, thanks for noticing! Recognition for what is good in our society is sorely lacking. One thing I learned from Ms. Rand is that its the most important element of justice in a civilized society. Even though I don't like some of Rush's conservative rants, the good he has achieved is overwhelming.

He was definitely Rush. RIP! The funny thing is that he was not a fan of Ayn Rand or her writing. I heard him totally rip some caller who asked about him at least once.

      Rush was first an entertainer.
He was a fast thinker though and he knew his audience wasn't full of objectivists.
Unfortunately, action from fast thought is often less productive than more considered action.
Rush was great at getting past any objections and on to his points, especially when the objections were valid ones.
He was an excellent entertainer and his audience loved having the left cut to bits verbally - when they wanted them to be cut to bits in reality.

Well maybe because of her atheism, or because Buckley ripped her and that was good enough for him. His fealty to conservatism was, at best, in my view a pragmatic business decision.

Reading the vile comments, by the unhinged lefties, Rush must have been finding their weak spots. No wonder the snowflakes hated him. As bomber pilots would tell you: when the flak gets really bad, it means that you're over the target.

For what its worth, the term "body politic immune system" for this article came from the anointed one, Hillary Clinton. She used it in a November 2016 interview to blame FOX News and talk radio for her loss to Trump.
