The smartest thing one can possibly do is to turn off the news media and all their panic porn. 95% of what is pushed by the major networks is hype not reality; carefully cherry-picked data rather than a holistic view.
Is COVID real? Yes. But is it going to destroy all life on this planet? No. There has been more damage done due to overreaction and policy mandates than was ever done by the virus, but try to tell people that and they close their ears and begin wringing their hands in angst. Especially the Democrats. A recent survey came out and found that a majority of Democrats believe that more than 50% of people who get COVID end up in the hospital (the real figure is closer to 1%). Just a bunch of ridiculously paranoid idiots.
There was a study approved by the CDC late last year that essentially said for every person who tests positive, there are at least five other people who either had no symptoms or minor symptoms who would have tested positive had they been tested.
With that in mind, and taking into account numbers from worldometers dot info slash coronavirus slash coronavirus-cases, the fatality rate from this is .35%. Or put another way, the survival rate is 99.65%, meaning that 1,993 people out of 2000 who get it will survive it.
Me? I like those odds.
I'll qualify the above. All humans are ignorant. There is no possible way we can know everything. Stupid people are proud of their ignorance. The addage I embrace: When One is dead, One does not know it and it brings grief to others. When One is stupid it is the same.
1) It's okay to suggest/say that "Meat Kills" (without any Evidence/Proof)
2) It's okay to scream that Covid-19 Kills (without the nuanced understanding that it kills the weak, and unhealthy, and that the numbers are largely exaggerated).

3) You CANNOT claim a vaccine INJURIED anyone without SCIENTIFIC PROOF of the HIGHEST CALIBRER. You must prove there was no alternate explanation, no underlying health issues, and OMG... If they were old, it was MERELY THEIR TIME...

However, if I understand correctly, the FDA can only issue the emergency use authorization if we are under a "national emergency." So,....once the Feds call off the "emergency," they can't push the vaccine any longer, because it's not approved. Here is the exact wording from the FDA:
"In certain types of emergencies, the FDA can issue an emergency use authorization, or EUA, to provide more timely access to critical medical products (including medicines and tests) that may help during the emergency when there are no adequate, approved, and available alternative options.
The EUA process is different than FDA approval, clearance, or licensing because the EUA standard may permit authorization based on significantly less data than would be required for approval, clearance, or licensing by the FDA. This enables the FDA to authorize the emergency use of medical products that meet the criteria within weeks rather than months to years.
EUAs are in effect until the emergency declaration ends but can be revised or revoked as we evaluate the needs during the emergency and new data on the product’s safety and effectiveness, or as products meet the criteria to become approved, cleared, or licensed by the FDA."

Oh, and did you know that being vaccinated INCREASES your risks of being an Asymptomatic Carrier, as well as having a Cytokine Storm? No... Well, then I don't think you should be talking to OTHERS about vaccination.

The rest actually try to argue that I am hurting others by not getting vaccinated. YET they cannot explain:
If the vaccine works, and ONLY unvaccinated people will suffer and die... How am I hurting anyone by not vaccinating? I am absorbing the risks! (Oh, you spread it... NO, Vaccinated people are more likely to be asymptomatic spreaders!)
Sadly, I think that we will discover in a couple of years that mRNA tampering was a huge mistake!
