Codevilla's (way too long) piece is simply another version of the ruling class he loathes, full of pronouncements of localized, Christian-faith-enforced, anti-abortion, strike-down-Title II of the Civil Rights Bill-Country Class-counties. Poach's support of them is no better. Sad, because Codevilla's intro is excellent until he does exactly what he loathes and talks about controlling other people's faith and choices - just another version of the Ruling Class control wielded by the Democrats he implores. How about another option: put the bible, moral pronouncements, and the guns away (voluntarily), THEN talk about decentralizing government in a way that reverses the Democratic on-its-way-to-Orwellian oversight and ultimately allows rationality and individuality and inter-dependence to prevail. I suspect that this is the true intention of the Constitution, versus the "good" one promoted by Codevilla in his self-contradicting article summarized hap-hazardly, including its flaws, by Mr. Poach. I'm surprised at the acceptance it has garnered from this group -- it's as though everyone read the first few paragraphs and nothing more.

I won't watch it again; I assure you.
