An Honest American's Commentary on Banks

Think your banker is your friend? Nope.
Is he another businessman just trying to get by? Nope.
Is he a looting, thieving government paid snitch who feels your hard earned capital is his and you are just a mark to enslave? Now you're on target.

"You will stand in line and do as they say with your money, which they consider theirs." There you have it in the nutshell. This is the leftist ideology in the nutshell as well.

His take on the relative freedom of an illegal alien compared to us citizens seems spot on as well, especially in sanctuary areas.

Visitors from other countries get better treatment in airport customs entry than US citizens (based on extensive observation standing in lines in airports. ;^)

We are just a captive source of income and the Armed Government Workers know it. Visitors are assumed to be superior because they are not enslaved to the US federal gov (as we 'citizens' are) and visitors can leave (taking their money with them) never to return if they are treated as cattle.

Interesting that its easier to come nto the USA as an asylum seeker than a returning USA citizen. I used to visit our mexican plant once a week, and always had hassles returning to the USA

At my local bank they want my ID just to deposit a check, made out to me, into my account. they give me some BS about being some Fed law or something... I think I need to change banks, again.

The bank wants to make sure that they can GET you if it turns out there is something untoward about the deposit. Government rules are onerous and they dont want any sort of illegal money being involved.

Try the bank of the back yard PVC pipe deposit if you want to avoid the hassles of banks.

And convert the cash into silver. I have a feeling China is going to do to us over Taiwan, what we did to the UK in 1956 over the Suez. I also think .gov realizes this and, is attempting to transition away from the dollar. Any war game scenario you play out over Taiwan has the dollar tanking. The only variable is if the shooting starts.

I am very concerned about the dollar tanking. That will be the end of the USA for all practical purposes. Mass confusion and people scrambling to stay afloat. USA government wants to have digital currency that they can fool around with at will. That will make paper dollars and normal bank accounts essentially worthless.

          1) If I was wealthy and living in Taiwan (or HK), I'd be forming a coalition of businessmen to buy property elsewhere and move lock, stock, and manufacturing plant. Living there is even more hazardous to liberty than living in the US. It's like the late 30's living in Germany was for some people.
The time is here that we should be doing the same in America, but the question is: where?

          2) Just try to get silver at the current (manipulated paper) spot price.

This is the result of Dodd-Frank.
A bank in late 2019 would not accept 20K in cash from me for a mortgage down payment.....it had not been "collateralized" by the "system".

When my X2 was in VN I deposited a check made out to him in his bank account. It was not accepted. I went into the bank and raised so much hell, they deposited it into his account. I asked if they wanted to bring him home to endorse it.

There was a time some years back and for various reasons I hoarded cash. Each time I cashed a paycheck I stashed $100 in an ammo can where someone else would never look. Any time I had extra cash I would also stash it there and this went on for many years. After I retired I wanted to buy myself a brand new vehicle and I finally had the guts to count my hidden savings to see how much of a vehicle I could afford with just cash, no loans and a title in my name only. What a fiasco that turned out to be. The car dealer could not accept my $50K in cash. Neither could my bank. I had to slowly deposit my cash into my banks in less than $10K deposits over a few weeks. The bank told me they had to report any large cash deposits because it could be from ill gotten gains like drug dealing or gambling and the old money in the mattress would not fly. I am pretty sure there is some law we are not allowed to have more than $10K of our own money in cash at any time. At my bank they pay me some ridiculously low interest rate on the cash I have in my account that they in turn loan out, even to me, at a ridiculously high interest rate. Banks are notoriously legitimate thieves and certainly not our friends. I can't squirrel my extra cash away any more and it all has to go into accounts that the government could have access to or at the least knowledge of. Just another Freedom that we allowed to slip away.

I'm feeling truly blessed, as my Oklahoma bank gives me little static about anything, and goes out of the way to offer any service I might need. It's also noted as one of the top 20 banks in the country for responsible handling of customer's finances and its ratio of cash to outlays.

Funny...even though I am transitioning back to Texas, I've decided to keep an association with my Oklahoma bank, for largely the same reasons as you.

Why in Bob’s name are you going BACK to Texas? That state is screwed. Have you been to Austin lately? Head to the Redoubt.

I avoid Austin - always have, for the past 70 years :-) If we could cut that part of Texas out and shove it "somewhere," I'd do it in a heartbeat. I was born in North East Texas and lived in North Texas for 65 1/2 years. Then a job moved us to OK, and then another job (at 2X the already-good salary) moved us back HOME. Emphasis: HOME :-)

It's just where I belong. OK was good to us. Then Covid did a number on my husband's industry....and even at that, he didn't lose his job, but the writing was on the wall. And my grandkids and new great-granddaughter --- call.

I am still dealing with fraudulent checks deposited into Bank of America then deducted from my bank (5/3 Bank). Because I do not have an account with Bank of America I am not allowed to speak with a company representative for a status report on my claim. I wrote a letter to the corporate office asking to speak with a representative about my claim two weeks ago. Nothing from the head office so far. Next I will post my experience on social media - that should get a response.

B of A online banking is pretty good, UNTIL and UNLESS there is a problem. Dealing with them at that point is pretty terrifying. It takes an act of the proper representative from GOD to get things resolved.
