Can we get rid of TSA screening?

We've known for years that they only thing the TSA is competent at is choosing the LEAST likely people to treat as terrorists, including old grandmas, children in strollers, etc. Now we find out that while they are more than happy to delay our arrivals at the airport to board planes, they have ZERO effective security for the millions of people who work at the airports themselves. [insert eyeroll here]

Time to privatize security. Make the individual airlines (who in many times own entire wings of airports) do the security screening. You can bet they'll come up with something that's effective and doesn't outrage customers. And if you're concerned about security risks posed by the airport workers, I'm fairly certain that the airports can figure out an effective way to handle that as well, such as an entrance for workers (which already exists at many airports).

TSA is just being true to their form. Just another govt bureaucracy demonstrating that the govt knows what is best. And still the sheeple want nationalized health care, nationalization of federal elections, etc. Thinking more on the subject and wondering if the TSA is also In charge of our southern border - that seems to be going sooo well ...
