    Maybe they didn't, but it shouldn't have surprised anyone. The deep state has been doing this for over 100 years all over the world.

    Remember the USS Maine?
    Remember the RMS Lusitania?
    Remember the attack on Pearl Harbor?
    Remember the Gulf of Tonkin incident?
    Remember 911?

    What do they all have in common? Greater power to the state and reduction of freedom for the people, independent investigations stymied and called conspiracy theories. Decades later the truth may come out, or maybe never.

      ...or maybe never...but I think we all know who the players are.
      I'd be proud to be called a Conspiracy Theorist...knowing the definition as being an observable fact that a conspiracy was committed.

      The JFK files were supposed to be released in their entirety in 2018. All anyone had to do was nothing. They would have simply been declassified. No action required. But, Trump redacted some until this year. And, I predict Biden will kick the proverbial can further down the road. All I want from government is the TRUTH.
      If we won’t “Drain the Swamp” from 60 years ago, how can we expect to drain the swamp of today? As the saying goes. Actions, not words.
      And, then there’s the issue of Assange and Snowden. If you want to stick your finger in the eye of the alleged Deep State there is no better method to facilitate that than pardoning those two.

      Leaked Clinton Campaign memos referred to Trump as a “Pied Piper Candidate”. I wonder if there’s a much deeper meaning there than anyone realizes.
      It would be prudent for readers to consider these truths before embarking on some “adventure”, in support of someone who’s principles appear to be nebulous.

    Truly, I don't know if his pose is legit, his imagination or just another distraction.
