2,000 National Guard Troops in DC Sworn In as Special Deputy US Marshals.

As you know, Sheriffs and Marshals are sworn to uphold the constitution...they follow no unconstitutional laws.
The U.S. Marshals have played a direct role in mediating the relationship between the Federal government, civilians, and upholding the law and the constitution. The Marshals were frequently the center of the stormin the controversy and strife that denotes much of American history.

    Something is really NOT right.
The media is now ridiculing people who say this is a trap. It’s almost like they’re daring people to come and start crap. With the wrong provocation I can see The Democrats using it as justification for repealing the 2nd Amendment.
There’s a lot of baiting going on:

The US Marshals are not military. Are they under the command of the Commander in Chief?

Being a federal government employees, I would think so. I'll see what it says

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) is a federal law enforcement agency in the United States. The USMS is a bureau within the U.S. Department of Justice, operating under the direction of the Attorney General,[3] but serves as the enforcement arm of the United States federal courts to ensure the effective operation of the judiciary and integrity of the Constitution.[4] It is the oldest U.S. federal law enforcement agency, created by the Judiciary Act of 1789 during the presidency of George Washington as the "Office of the United States Marshal".[5] The USMS as it stands today was established in 1969 to provide guidance and assistance to U.S. Marshals throughout the federal judicial districts.

The Marshals Service is primarily responsible for the protection of judges and other judicial personnel, the administration of fugitive operations, the management of criminal assets, the operation of the United States Federal Witness Protection Program and the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System, the execution of federal arrest warrants, and the protection of senior government officials through the Office of Protective Operations. Throughout its history the Marshals have also provided unique security and enforcement services including protecting African-American students enrolling in the South during the civil rights movement, escort security for United States Air Force LGM-30 Minuteman missile convoys, law enforcement for the United States Antarctic Program, and protection of the Strategic National Stockpile.[6]

The office of United States Marshal was created by the First Congress. President George Washington signed the Judiciary Act into law on September 24, 1789.[7] The Act provided that a United States Marshal's primary function was to execute all lawful warrants issued to him under the authority of the United States. The law defined marshals as officers of the courts charged with assisting federal courts in their law-enforcement functions:

And be it further enacted, That a marshal shall be appointed in and for each district for a term of four years, but shall be removable from office at pleasure, whose duty it shall be to attend the district and circuit courts when sitting therein, and also the Supreme Court in the district in which that court shall sit. And to execute throughout the district, all lawful precepts directed to him, and issued under the authority of the United States, and he shall have the power to command all necessary assistance in the execution of his duty, and to appoint as shall be occasion, one or more deputies.[8]

So from what I understand, Yes, The president can command the US marshals through the US Attorney General and Federal Court systems.

When I keep seeing even the local news warning people to stay away from the California Capitol facility - which is basically just a nice park with some hobos sleeping in it - I can't help but think there's some sort of false flag event in the works. Call me crazy - haha. It all just seems strange...all this hype. Yesterday I joked with my son and his friend that when Biden takes the oath I'm going to go out in the street, drop to my knees and yell at the sky "nooooooooo..." - just like that lady did when Trump was sworn in. They laughed.

We are living in very interesting times, my friends.

Could this be part of the plan or is it standard procedure?

I have seen videos of Ospreys flying over DC.

USMC Power Plant: 2x Rolls Royce-Allison AE1107C turbo shaft engines Speed: 277 mph Armament: 1x M2 .50 Cal machine gun Range: 500 nm Payload: 24 troops Crew: Four (pilot, copilot and two flight engineers)
The MV-22 Osprey is the primary assault support aircraft for the U.S. Marine Corps. It was fielded to replace the CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter and has been deployed to support troops in combat since 2007.

The Osprey is unique in that it uses two engines positioned on fixed wing tips housed in nacelles that rotate to allow the MV-22 to land and take off vertically, but achieve much faster flight than a helicopter by tilting the nacelles forward while in flight in a configuration similar to a fixed-wing aircraft.

With the speed and range of a turboprop, the maneuverability of a helicopter and the ability to carry 24 Marine combat troops twice as fast and five times farther than previous helicopters, the Osprey enhances Marine assault operations. The Osprey's impact was felt immediately upon its arrival in Iraq. Commenting on its advanced expeditionary capabilities and staggering operational reach, a top Marine commander went as far as to say it turned his battle space "from the size of Texas into the size of Rhode Island."

When I was a young kid in the bay area my friend, Kevin's, dad was one of the very first engineers who started the V22 program. He was actually at NASA at the time, or Lockheed (I forget which). Then, around 1979 I actually saw the prototype flying around Moffat Field in a first public display. I was mesmerized...and I think it played a role in my becoming an engineer in aerospace. That bird was so silent on approach - it was downright eerie. Now a friend of mine's brother flies them for the Marines. Still fascinated by that bird. It was a bit of a deathtrap in development...

In the Presidents speech today is said something interesting: Wishing the next admin Luck, "A Very Important Word"...so I looked it up: success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions: "it was just luck that the first kick went in"

I suspect he was referring to Failure brought on by chance if not by one's own actions.
