I hope I'm not stealing their thunder, but (in alphabetical order) khalling, LetsShrug, & rockymountainpirate were discussing yesterday how the "Line of The Day" threads should be brought back.

So, here it is.

    ummmmm ... while gulchers were mentioned as
    "line of the day" nominators (my interpretation),
    the idea that it was their lines was between the lines.

    so, I nominate Kaila's "Hahahahahaha", in honor
    of labor day weekend and her constant suppport!!! -- j

    Who can choose just one? (Insert "uh" every four words or so...)

    1. I am confident that as Commander-in-Chief I have the authorities to engage in the acts that we are conducting currently. As our strategy develops, we will continue to consult with Congress. And I do think that it will be important for Congress to weigh in, or that our consultations with Congress continue to develop so that the American people are part as part of the debate. But I don’t want to put the cart before the horse. We don’t have a strategy yet.
    2. But I think it is very important to recognize that a military solution to this problem is not going to be forthcoming.
