The question has to be just how far people can be pushed before they decide to openly rebel. I think it will start small, with a few being arrested, which leads to widespread protest. What will follow will prove whether or not those with autocratic aims can succeed. If they try to suppress protest with violence, the response will be violent, in a much more organized way than the BLM/Antifa mob violence has been, and a new revolution will have begun.
