Well, it is done. Biden is President. Totalitarians, liars and thieves have taken control. Terrible day.

However, we now have a large granite monument, demonstrating that the legion of rumors promulgated by various sources along the lines of:
- "Heads will roll"
- "Big News coming"
- "Massive indictments on the way"
- "It is all part of a plan"
- "Trump has them just where he wants them"
were complete nonsense. All previous contrary predictions were false.

Likely these were distributed, preying on a hungry audience, with the intention to polarize and paralyze the US by foreign agents.

We have learned something from any false hope, and need not repeat the error. Fool me once, shame on you ... Fool me twice, I don't learn...

I am very disappointed to see such a shallow decision process from you, and a missing defense for the freedom-basis.

The assertion that he didn't have policies is simply wrong.
Just in the Dept of Education, his administration pulled government back as fast as could possibly be imagined.
With foreign policy he forced other countries to begin to carry their weight, where the US had been footing the bill for decades
With foreign policy he got several countries in the Middle East to recognize Israel
He pulled us out of the Paris Agreement (you may not like this, but you also refuse to do other than "believe" in it, as we have previously argued).
He reduced taxes, in particular, the ridiculous AMT
Unemployment was the lowest in my lifetime.

All of these increase our freedom.

    - If you just hate him, and had to vote for Biden out of hate and spite, fine, but admit that you prefer spite and hate to freedom.
    - If you actually believe that Biden's admin offers more freedom, defend this position.
    - If you are just silent, I will have to assume as others have, that you are a troll here, which is very disappointing.

Trump didn't have policies? Black and Hispanic employment broke records. So did the overall economy. This is before before the CPP's sneaky germ warfare attack that theysaid was all our fault, of course.
We became and still are fossil fuel independent. For the moment.
Now we're drifting back into back into that sad Obamanation land where heating and vehicle fuel costs will soar back to the levels I remember.
Obama wanted to to take America down a few notches and did. Now it's Quid Pro Quo Joe the voter fraud Thief-In-Chief's turn to degrade the USA.

Your statements reveal just how much you know about this subject. As a journalist, you are right there with your lying comrades.

Ok, so you hate him. Fine.

Now, explain more freedom from Biden. If you can’t, you just voted for the pretty person, and compromised our beliefs... personally, I am beginning to doubt your beliefs are consistent with this group, rather you are engaging here for entertainment.

Trump openly joked about flouting the law, admiring cruelty, and admiring dictators. I know it's a joke. Everything he said could be thought of a joke. He didn't have policies. The hurtfulness and nastiness were the point. He was so disgraceful I can't compare him to a normal person.

    "What about this is better?"
I am not certain it is better. I think this problem is mostly unrelated to who is president. I do not know a solution to the problem.

My wild guess prediction: Deficits stay in the $2T range for two years, making the debt $31T. Republicans win control of the Senate and maybe the House. They use the issue of the deficit to undermine Biden's agenda. (This is a good thing.) Deficits fall steadily to the $500B range.

Even that guess makes it seem like the problems are really related to politics and if we just elected the good people, we could beat this problem. That is completely wrong. The problem comes from a) insufficient protections against the people voting themselves money, b) citizens who are often not knowledgeable about economics and are in too much debt themselves, c) no widely understood philosophical understandings on government. There may be other reasons. I'm sure, though, that it's not that we elect immoral people.

We don’t want Trump at a barbecue. We don’t want Biden at one either. Trump speaks like a buffoon, but his is not an evaluation of who is the best conversationalist or buddy.

Which one has policies better supporting freedom? Without question, Trump.

We don’t need two pages of quotes, and a diatribe to discuss this. It is simple. Keep it simple. What policy of Biden’s will offer more freedom than the parallel policy of Trumps?

"Banks colluded to stop doing business with Trump."
I suspect he's nearly broke and not bankable.

"How does a 70 year old man jeoporduse everything he's built when he has a family he hoped to leave his empire to? "
He inherited around $400B, lost it all, then made most of that back when he got a break as an actor on reality TV, which with royalties earned him the $400B+ back. Then he lost some of that (we don't know how much) in bad business deals. You don't pay taxes in inheritance (the estate pays), so he never really made significant money and therefore does not owe taxes. He built nothing. His run for presidency was a continuation of the reality TV act. Royalties from that had been dwindling. By a fluke he won, and I suspect he tried to milk it for all the personal gain he could.

"Trump acted out of self interest by walking away. Objectivists should be applauding his shrug, no?"
In this absurd scenario, maybe he was the one who recording the conversation with Georgia officials asking for them to find votes that would make him win. It was all part of his act to hide the fact he lost on purpose because he was tired of supporting the world on his shoulders.

"Biden's fraud is visual as DC us on lockdown and fully armed."
Trump's supporters have been sharing bizarre conspiracy theories about a civil war and Trump conspiring to become a benevolent dictator. His supporters believed this stuff, broke into the the Capitol and threatened to murder people. Maybe they knew this civil war and military conspiracy theories were crap, so they're surprised that they increased security.

And it will be (would’ve been) better with this parties administration? Spending clearly higher. The only way the debt would be better is if they hadn’t improved the tax plan. Meaning we pay more.

    What about this is better?

"Let the games begin. 27 trillion in debt."
There is a good chance the deficit will continue the same as the past four years, resulting in another 8 trillion over four years. In this scenario, people longing for "four more years" will get their wish.
That means the debt would be $35T by 2024, assuming the monetary crisis that will stop the party doesn't occur before then.

Wow unpopular comment I made. Oh well. This isn’t Facebook now is it. LOL Just making an objective analysis. I’m certainly not happy about this outcome. Don’t shoot the messenger.
Here’s to 2024. And a future President with actual brains. If we make it that long.

“Nobody has been dealt a tougher hand than Gavin Newsom,"
    Bull$%^t.
He hasn't been impeached, had a biased special investigator on "evidence" created by his enemies, been incorrectly called a dictator, and had his office stolen in a fake election.

Well written. Do quite like the blue/red pill analogy!

Unfortunately for us, there are a lot of people in Trump's camp that are readily painted as "flakes": flat earthers, the actual white supremacists, the religious far right, etc. Although the insanity is equally flaky on the left, the media highlights these others, and along with Trump's 11 yr old tweets, obscured excellent, productive policies.

Maybe. Politico just published an article largely throwing CA's issues at Newsome's feet. I was shocked.

I have to agree. He will walk away with no prosecution now.
I’ve said before, IF HE actually TRIED to do something AND LOST, they would Romanov him and his family. His other option. Go play golf at Mar-Lago and live the life of a millionaire. And that was guaranteed. Trump has shrugged. Can’t say I blame him. I’m feeling kind of shruggish myself.

His heart was NEVER in it anyway. When he didn’t “Lock her up”, redacted the JFK files, didn’t pardon Assange or Snowden. He fell into the swamp he said he wanted to drain. It was just another accomplishment. Another “LOOK AT ME” moment.
That’s why I say don’t go to DC on some damn fool adventure in support of a guy who didn’t have the webos to do it himself. Heck, he threw Pence under the bus to try to fix it all. You were the Damn President Don! All he needed to do was enforce the law this summer in regards to the elections. As far as the “Patriot Party” goes. No thanks. Fool me once... That’ll end up being a honeypot. Just like Parler.

He did leave us a gift however. We now see that what we’ve suspected all along is true. If your faith in the narratives of the MSM is not DESTROYED now, I don’t know what can be done for you. I guess just take the blue pill. Plug back into the Matrix. And believe whatever you want to believe. Mmmm the steak is good.

This cannot be fixed at a ballot box. Nor can it be fixed on a battlefield. People need to suffer the consequences before they’ll begin to question the desired narrative. Hunker down. Protect you and yours. Go where you are treated best. Don’t make it burn. Just let it burn.
