Well it is D O N E
Well, it is done. Biden is President. Totalitarians, liars and thieves have taken control. Terrible day.
However, we now have a large granite monument, demonstrating that the legion of rumors promulgated by various sources along the lines of:
- "Heads will roll"
- "Big News coming"
- "Massive indictments on the way"
- "It is all part of a plan"
- "Trump has them just where he wants them"
were complete nonsense. All previous contrary predictions were false.
Likely these were distributed, preying on a hungry audience, with the intention to polarize and paralyze the US by foreign agents.
We have learned something from any false hope, and need not repeat the error. Fool me once, shame on you ... Fool me twice, I don't learn...

It did. There's no correlation or causation. The economy expanded coming out of the recession of 08-09, with unemployment falling, GDP growing, and for reasons I don't understand, no inflation. Debt has nearly tripled. At some point there will be a monetary crisis that will force a balanced budget.
If you think this answers the question, you have never functioned in the business world. Maybe we’ll try yes/no, but I lack the incentive. My assumption is superior, when effort is considered.

"in the Dept of Education, his administration pulled government"
I am not knowledgeable about this, but it's great if he did.
"With foreign policy he forced other countries to begin to carry their weight"
Sort of. I would call this false because we did not see any savings in spending. Spending increased. I’ll give it “sort-of” because he tried to pull the US out of its post-WWII police-force-of-the-world role. The military establishment resisted it because, as I understand it, they see US having a global empire-like presence as responsible for the Long Peace. My impression is he was not good at processing the military leadership’s objections and then finding ways to address them. Instead, I think he kept asking, they said no, he’d lose interest and focus on the how he beat Clinton in ‘16, and then eventually he’d ham-fistedly order troop withdrawals. I am not sure what would have happened if he had been focused and intelligent about it. Maybe there was no way to get the military to agree to withdraw from the world.
I still give rate this as partially true because he at least brought up the issue of why America is always the police officer, which no president in my lifetime brought up. President Obama once said that part of American exceptionalism is that we have the military power to intervene around the world. I hated that b/c it means close to the opposite to me. President Trump really did raise the issue.
"He pulled us out of the Paris Agreement”
Yeah, as I said, I think this is a very bad decision.
“He reduced taxes, in particular, the ridiculous AMT”
I give no credit for this because government spending increased. It was just postponing the taxes to future generations and moving them to the hidden form of government debt instruments competing with private-sector investment.
I will give credit for how the tax cut was structured. It had three goals: a) reduce taxes overall, b) simplify taxes, and c) not too many people should have tax increases because of the simplification. B and C are in conflict, yet the tax cut pulled off all three goals well. If it had come with spending cuts, it would have been great.
“Unemployment was the lowest in my lifetime.”
Yes, but it has nothing at all to do with the government or the president.
“If you just hate him, and had to vote for Biden out of hate and spite, fine, but admit that you prefer spite and hate to freedom.”
This is utter-nonsense. I never gave any thought of supporting anyone other than President Biden.
“If you actually believe that Biden's admin offers more freedom, defend this position.”
I do not. I do not believe the president can do this, except on the edges. By that I mean, if spending and debt grow but at half the rate they would have grown with Trump as president, we could say that offers more freedom, but I consider it insignificant. I don’t see government spending actually decreasing in cost and intrusiveness due to the actions of one person.
I have nothing much good to say about the Royal House of Bush. Sometimes it is more about the president than the party. Read somewhere today that Trump may crank up a "Patriot Party." I was thinking of suggesting a "Freedom Party" in a letter to wherever Trump is in Florida but "Patriot" works for me. The trouble with the GOP is that it's infested with too many Deep State RINOs. Me dino sez back up the real freedom fighters with new patriotic blood.
I suspect it sounds like beating around the bush because you've gotten used to politicians' self-serving facile explanation that problems are caused by bad guys and can be fixed by giving power to the good guys (them).
