I do not give up control over what I do with my own body. Therefore if they make it mandatory, I will resist unless I have decided its a good idea on my own.

They could forbid drivers license renewals unless people have it, deny or revoke passports, not let you have bank accounts, get employers to only hire people who have been vaccinated. All bets are off the table when leftists are in control, so who knows what they will do.

I love this forum because we can have these discussions here without it becoming a melee. I respect all opinions on this. But, I'm wholly opposed to government forced healthcare. This is the issue. My work has had me dive deep into the government-healthcare complex for many years and it has become very clear to me that government should have zero say in healthcare treatments of any kind.

I want to add that a person labeled and anti-vaxxer by the media put out a message within the past week that she is very healthy (in her 40s) and has never considered suicide...was just found dead. I think this is crazy, no matter how you look at it...

Nope. I don't do any of those. I don't trust them, and yes, I am very cynical. Most all are made in China and they, supposedly, are designed for what the experts "think" will be the strain that particular year. I would rather play darts. We see how good the "experts" are.

I have check several drug company websites, trying to get details. I am allergic to egg, on a treatment which says no live virus vaccines also. One site said you may become sick with COVID19 symptoms for 2-3 days, but at a lesser degree than if you had it. All for short term immunity/ I don't think so.

There are many involuntary submissions for living in the USA. Short of legislation to change that, one needs to decide whether the penalty for disobeying is worth the trouble. For example, educating ones children is a trade off on mandatory teaching of state required material regardless as to public school, private school, or home schooling. Ignoring the state will most likely result in fine or jail time until the state is paid.
If you are old enough to remember the military draft which had mandatory physical exam resulting in fine for service, 4F unsatisfactory for service, and other considerations. Some went to Canada which upset many Americans and others accepted prison sentences as punishment.
I do not want to see a mandatory requirement for vaccination. enough who voluntary take the shots should be enough, bringing the disease to an acceptable rate of about 30000+ deaths a year as with influenza.
The preliminary estimate for US deaths for 2020 is 8880 per day, which is about the usual increase from 2019.

Mandatory, voluntary, macht nichts to me. I don't have negative reactions to vaccines, unlike others who might have to worry about this new vaccine. I'm willing to be a guinea pig to see if there's any danger from this new vaccine. If I have a negative reaction, people should worry.

This could be the first time that I choose to participate in acts of civil disobedience. In preparation, I have been hiding my stash in remote locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. I keep the maps in my head.

I will politely take a pass from the Covid Panic Vaccine.
The difficulty is how the Covid Vaccine card relates to travel / flights.
Proof of having taken the vaccine shot may be required for international flights.
In that case, that could put a snag in my plans to get to the Himalayas for adventure trekking.
Of course, I could always opt for a slow boat -- but I expect that passage on large boats will similarly require the Covid Card.

In somewhat related news, I wanted to buy an AR last summer. The gun store told me that I would need to fill out a bunch of papers and be on a wait list, etc... However -- If I bought the upper and lower separately, and they were sold as such, I could put the two pieces together with the provided pins, also buy a box of 556 and head from the store directly to the range and start shooting. And so, we have the private marketplace always being a step or two ahead of the State. I expect there to be similar means of getting around the Covid Card when it is implemented.

I appreciate your response. The operative word here is "mandatory". My thoughts on this is that it should be up to you. In fact if you want it you should be able to get it. That should happen soon, depending on where you are. Where we would have a disagreement is if/when you want to use the force of government to make other people take it.
