"Since 2004, twenty large federal agencies have admitted to disbursing an astonishing $2.25 trillion in improper payments. Last year, these improper payments totaled $175 billion – that’s about $15 billion per month, $500 million per day, and $1 million a minute.
But what exactly is an improper payment?
Federal law defines the term as “payments made by the government to the wrong person, in the wrong amount, or for the wrong reason."
When people or companies receive incorrect payments, it erodes trust and hinders the government’s ability to finance everything from defense to health care.

For what it's worth, I retired from a 30 year "high-earning taxpayer" job last year.
At present, I enjoy long road-trips in my 2003 Camry and still actually enjoy reducing my expenses by snoozing in the ample backseat. I am living off savings and spending little into the economy.
In terms of the black market, I own some marketable real estate (land), that I am working to short plat into a form of currency to trade with others. One of my "neighbors" did this recently when he cut 5-acres from his 35 acres, and sold it to a home builder for a song ... the homebuilder then built my neighbor his dream-house, essentially in exchange for the 5 acres. I also have the ability to guide folks on mountain trips and treks (think Grand Canyon) ... and can trade my services for the professional services (architects, surveyors, travel consultants) of others. There are lots of loopholes to get around the legislatively dictated confiscation of property (taxes).
Just go on consumption strike and force it to collapse that way. If you can take your business to the black market.
