While the NAR has long required its members to behave professionally while on the job, its new “Standard of Practice,” known as 10-5, will require the same while realtors are off-duty – meaning their entire lives will be policed in accordance with the approved new speech code.

Yeah, good luck enforcing this. Courts have already ruled that this type of contract is unenforceable and can not be used as a basis for punitive measures against members. No private contract has the right to infringe on Constitutionally-protected actions taken on private time.

The Code of Ethics for Professional Engineers paragraph I1 is more direct. Professional Engineers (PEs) are required to act and present as officers of the court w.r.t. potential hazards to personnel and/or members of the public.

This kind of thing makes wonder about the other side of bigotry.

As long as the judges aren't bench-riding activists of the liberal persuasion, this lockstep woke baloney can't stand. Unfortunately, more and more judges don't seem to understand or care about that which they are sworn to uphold.

NAR should reincorporate as a church. Then maybe they could get away with this stupidity.

In the meantime they're one more entry for the "get woke, go broke" boycott list.

Me too much of an old-fashioned all-American dinosaur to stomach any such intrusive group think thought police Micky Mouse Schiff.
Me dino suddenly has a new appreciation for signs that state, "House For Sale By Owner."

Unenforceable, just like patent ownership by companies for ideas developed at home.

It would seem to me that this would quickly lose in court. All one has to do is present it to their local courtroom and declare infringement of rights.
