The two above, and another 4, are within less than 10 minute drive. A community of 35k. Move outward from the city limit 10 miles....at least another dozen mom and pop's....and then there are the bars and pubs. You do not want to attempt a pub crawl here unless of professional standing and training.
They are as nostalgic as Rockwell could ever express of interactive Americana. All kinds of folks just come to have a cup of coffee, a sandwich and genuine first-hand interaction with others.
During that transitional time I voted Jimmy Carter into office and was calling that peanut farmer Peanut Brain when I voted for Reagan.
Never voted for another Democrat POTUS candidate ever again. Now I won't vote for any Democrap at all!!!
