Essentially, me dino was mentally nodding at these memes~~but what Putin said was a LOL riot!
Age 73, I'm old enough to spot a Norman Rockwell painting that used to be on the cover of every Saturday Evening Post my family subscribed to when I was a little kid. It has a profile of Trump's head added to it.
He is on a stool beside a little kid. Both sit before the counter of a soda fountain that used to be in drug stores where little dino liked to buy comic books.

As of settling into my new place end of March, I have two establishments with lunch counters within 15 minute walk.
They are as nostalgic as Rockwell could ever express of interactive Americana. All kinds of folks just come to have a cup of coffee, a sandwich and genuine first-hand interaction with others.

We have a number of counter restaurants on the shore line, as you might expect but they are Not Norman Rockwellish...I miss that atmosphere.

For the last seven years in So Minneapolis there was only one that struggled to keep doors open....it was razed this spring. Not to re-open.
The two above, and another 4, are within less than 10 minute drive. A community of 35k. Move outward from the city limit 10 miles....at least another dozen mom and pop's....and then there are the bars and pubs. You do not want to attempt a pub crawl here unless of professional standing and training.

Last drug store I saw like that I occasionally liked to eat a BLT at during the Seventies during the 7 years I was a newspaper reporter.
During that transitional time I voted Jimmy Carter into office and was calling that peanut farmer Peanut Brain when I voted for Reagan.
Never voted for another Democrat POTUS candidate ever again. Now I won't vote for any Democrap at all!!!
