Open the schools

Despite the media/leftist hysteria, the more facts that come out about COVID-19, the fewer support the draconian lockdowns and other government mandates. Now finally America is beginning to wake up to the reality that school openings don't threaten anyone - just like Europeans have known for six months.

And if you missed Rand Paul going after Dr. Fauci in a Senate hearing about this very issue back in August, its fifteen minutes of flame grilling on the barbie. What was most telling was that only a few days later Fauci reversed his agreement with Senator Paul and again advocated for school closures, mask mandates, etc.

It is so nice to see our school children back to normal. Skateboarding down my street. I don't even care if they throw their soda cans in my ditch. The city is now cleaning that ditch for me! Their happy faces make me smile.

It's not only the teachers, but the administrators who have to approve the suspensions. They should be terminated as well.

Yes, I have seen those reports, too.
So far I haven't seen any teachers being fired for leftist bias either.

If the schools were actually closed, I would agree, but most students are simply being subjected to distance learning rather than true home-schooling. I've seen several articles about teachers getting students in trouble for everything from BB guns to Trump t-shirts when the kids are in their own homes!

The upside of closed schools is the students aren't being brainwashed by useful-idiot leftist "teachers."
(But I agree that the virus is not a reason for schools to be closed.)
