How to Protect Your Children From Indoctrination

"Reports are starting to surface of parents uncomfortable with the political patina of their children’s online classrooms. Police visited one family because a boy’s BB gun was visible behind him in an online classroom session, and the teacher reported the “gun” to the police.

Another teacher caught a glimpse of a 12-year old’s Nerf gun, and instead of asking him or the parents about it, she reported it to the sheriff. The child was accidentally suspended for a week for having a toy gun at home during a Zoom class!

One teacher expressed that he has to be more careful with his words now that parents can listen to online class sessions. Some school districts have gone so far as to ask parents to sign a disclaimer that they will not watch class sessions with their children to protect other children’s privacy in the online classroom.

Could it be that teachers, their unions, and school administrations are concerned about being exposed as rhetoric spreaders in the classroom? "

This is a new access point for the establishment into the homes of our children. Of course.

I know I'll get in trouble because when my daughter is in session on her computer I'll walk by and give her a hug and smooch on her head. That must drive them crazy...seeing a loving father in the home.

I wonder if parents can opt out of home invasion and make schools provide transportation to a safe computer site. If so, may as well open the schools.

Better for parents to seek out and hire teachers without socialist bias and form neighborhood private schools. Simultaneously petition for their taxes to go to their choice of school. Take away the funding from the enemy or the enemy will brainwash your children and destroy their future. That is the goal of public schools as currently organized. No compromise.

I like the way you think, FFA, but the school tax/teacher-union/government machine is like a pit bull with a serious grip on the peoples wallet. It's a prime example of being careful what you wish/vote for in the name of the children. That is, when too many of the electorate vote yes to government sending out an army of bullies to slap around their fellow citizens to force funding of a "good idea", what you really end up with is government with an army of bullies and not such a good idea.

Having teachers stick with the subject is a good thing. If they go off the rails we can only hope they get caught and fired for it.

My son dropped out of high school in the 9th grade. He assured me they couldn't teach him anything more. He joined the Army. Finished his 3 year tour and entered the University of Houston where he graduated Summa Cum Laud! He was invited to sit for the Master's Exams. He became a teacher!!!

In 1970 my dad took on his first teaching endeavor, he was 35. He was not indoctrinated into educationalism. He had a wealth of first hand experience to bring to the classroom. The more I think about this, I would want educational and philosophical degrees to be restricted to "minors" in the system. After a time, minimum to be established, employed in the non-institutionalized economic realm, allowance for application to teach publicly can be persued. Let's make this a community voting issue instead of by appointment. Just a thought.

I know a number of good older teachers, but most are retired or resting in peace now. The younger teachers I know, including relatives, have been washed through the system-gone-Marxist, which has the power to fail/blackball the diminishing numbers of dissenters so they won't show up in the classroom. I am saddened by this state of events and am clueless as to how to fix it. There is no such thing as a rational discourse with these brainwashed droids, so my plan is to hunker down and be prepared as best as I can in the winter of my lifespan and try to enjoy what's left of free America. As Atlas shrugs the ride is going to get bumpier.
