Actually, the university I attend is relatively conservative (the current president is a former board member for NOM). Though as far as I'm aware, most classes don't even discuss political topics one way or another.

sigh. I hate labels. I love arguments. I love philosophy. I adore discussion. I am not a conservative. I'm not even sure I am an Objectivist. I think there's tests you have to take and Phd's you have to get...I am logical-does that make me fruity? I do like tomatoes

" "Progressive" is a term I've never actually used to describe myself."

Yes..but they don't look at the fruit....they're too busy looking at their playbook of ridicule. Only truth questers look at the fruit and judge it for what it is. By looks of Maph's fruit he has the hand of a liberal college up his butt that's causing him to regurgitate verbal terds.

I'll be the first. You're a Progressive. (Haven't you noticed?? It's not what you call yourself that matters, it's what everybody else calls you. Like the tea party being called "violent"...somebody said it so it must be true... right? (What DO you call yourself? Valerie Jarrett?)

How many Politicians does it take to change a light bulb?

1,000,001: One to change the bulb and 1,000,000 to rebuild civilization to the point where they need light bulbs again.

I think we've reached the point (Grayson) where the truth no longer matters. Facts are irrelevant and logic is not required. Demonize and polarize your opponent by any means necessary.

The TEA party and Christian groups discussed do not fall into the same class as the KKK or Neo Nazis. Those groups generally were dealt with by the FBI. This is wrong.

How to condition troops to fire on their own 101.

It's just a couple of rogue Army instructors just like it was a couple of rogue IRS agents in Ohio.

Anyone seeking to subvert or nullify the Constitution would be considered an enemy of the Constitution, correct? Let's say the President wants to abrogate the Constitution and place himself/herself in a despot or tyrant role, would they not be considered an enemy of the Constitution? That being the case, would not the military be required to take arms against such? Now, suppose such a leader had emplaced his creatures in leadership and command roles within that military structure. On whose side would the military now be in case of rebellion or insurrection? That would greatly depend on the ability of the lower ranking officers and men to determine the rightness of a cause by critical thinking and reasoned action. As has been pointed out, the current education system, in many cases, has not trained those skills well. We shall see what we shall see, and I don't think it will be pleasant.
