Can those windmills produce enough electricity if we all drove electric cars???

  Wind mills and solar cells have been woefully insufficient and not only use up tremendous amounts of useful land, they are environmentally unfriendly and use up more resources than what they produce.
  Add in additional usage and things go south really quick.

The Magnetic motor has always interested me but as Ben from http://suspicious0bservers.org has frequently said: A CME or EMP of Carrington event or stronger would melt every copper wire on earth...something to consider.
Plasma motors...now that might very well be out ticket to energy independents on an individual level.

BUT..,to an ole gear head, John Galt's motor would have been an overhead came, semi hemi 427 cubic inch Ford Mustang Motor!
Maybe even powered with hydrogen plasma?
