IMO, Charged Kid Only Guilty Of Self Defense

~~and immaturely wanting to be a vigilante protector of businesses at the inexperienced age of 17. Me dino would not allow my teenager to do such a thing, especially in another town, but I can recall sneaking out of the house at Kyle's age.
In the video, we first see Kyle Rittenhouse being chased by one punk while carrying a semiautomatic AR-15 or what Bolshevik Beto O'Dork calls "A WEAPON OF WARRRR!

The punk appears to strike Kyle from behind. More punks are seen in pursuit as Kyle runs on. Kyle then falls. Can't tell if he fell or was hit by something thrown. That does not matter.
What matters is that several punks attacked Kyle when he was down on his back.
Kyle opens fire. He only shoots attackers, who receives Darwin Awards, one posthumously, for attacking someone with a firearm. No one else. One punk raises his hands. Kyle simply gets up and leaves.
He walks on tries to tell police in several vehicles what had just happened.
Me dino hopes Kyle is found not guilty.

    FWIW, I believe that a lot of these "demonstrators" are amped up on drugs then turned lose. A coworker of mine watched one run right out into traffic on his drive to work a while back and get run over. Snapped his leg and he acted like he still had a mission to disrupt the commute of the common folk. Certainly sounded like drugs were involved. Dope em up and wind em up. This may be why they are trying to attack a guy sitting on the ground with a black rifle by swinging their skateboards.

    Unless I am mistaken, Kyle has obtained the services of the lawyer who helped Mr. Sandmann out. And a few other lawyers to help, as well. Some of them (perhaps all?) are serving pro bono, perhaps in response to Kyle's GoFundMe being deleted. (Editing to add: I see Dobrien has already mentioned this, below).

    It actually could be the Russians or the communist Chinese, although I suspect that authoritarians like that would never come up with the idea of doing so, as they could never conceive of the stupidity of the american political system which will bun it's own house down to defeat someone like Trump.

    Better yet, call President Trump as a witness, and ask him why he didn't take action. He would tell the truth, under oath, and the Dimocrats would hate it when he says "I offered help many times, but the local leaders turned me down."

    I keep recalling the original version of The Day The Earth Stood Still. My favorite line of Klaatu is "you need to understand that by threatening danger, you face danger." These mobs of indoctrinated social justice terrorists are instructed to make threats, and get in people's faces, but not to attack unless the victim takes physical action. That is why most of the people out there are girls. They can then play the sex card and complain that "you hit a girl". Then the news media can blame the victim. If the target does take physical action, they have enforcers that are armed to swoop in and beat the crap out of the victim. Kyle short-circuited that strategy by taking a gun to a fist or knife fight.

    "News media needs to get back to reality on this." After the last three years of bogus investigations and the steady drumbeat of fake news keeping false narratives alive, it's evident that the news media doesn't do reality anymore. They're going to keep spreading their lies. The best we can hope for is a majority of people stop listening to them.

    When the police, out of fear of retribution, refuse to do their job, the job still needs to be done. If this anarchy is allowed to go on much longer I suspect we shall see a lot more of this from good, law abiding, citizens protecting themselves and their properties. I can't determine right or wrong from the BS info we have so far however I do feel a line was crossed when the 17 year old left the security of his own property with a gun.

    Wouldn't carry a long gun into a crowd like that. Too unwieldy in close quarters. Automatic pistol or submachine gun would be more tactically appropriate. He's guilty of weapons charges in Wisconsin, I think the AR15 is illegal there. There was no other reason for him to be there other than to cause trouble. Just like all the terrorists on the other side. Recklessness of youth; he didn't know what he was getting into and didn't think through what could happen. Is there a defense fund to which I can contribute? His legal team should take the same tack that liberal murderer's legal teams take; blame others. The Dimocrat politicians set up the situation by not doing their jobs. Call the governor of Wisconsin, and mayor of Kenosha as witnesses, and ask them why they didn't take action to stop the riots.

    All 3 he shot turned out to be Felons!!! That tells me someone is paying these scum to riot. That means there is a domestic terrorist organization at work here. Kyles life will be ruined, just like the "White Hispanic" guy [Zimmerman] in Florida, he was a dumbass for being in that situation, but if it wasn't for 17 year olds with firearms who should have not thought better....we would still be under British rule. I salute you Kyle....even if you should have stayed at home.

    Antifa or BLM hurting a loved one would make me snap. Fortunately for an old dino on a cane--who can't duplicate that kid's moves--I live in Alabama far from any trouble like that. Nevertheless, Birmingham (a very short drive from where I live) IS run by black Dems now. All it takes is a black thug pulling a knife or gun on a white cop. Maybe even a black cop..

    I think there are a lot more Kyle's out there, especially after Portland Saturday Night. Afraid even sensible folks have had just about enough of this and it will not end without more guns being fired. When one segment of society becomes violent and takes the rights of others, eventually, hopefully, the other side says enough and if government doesn't protect "rights" someone else will. Just my thoughts

    Don't think Kyle was being paid for what he called "my job." After I left corrections and before becoming fully retired., I off and on for ten years worked all kinds of security posts for three different contract security companies.
    The most dangerous was a truck stop in a bad Birmingham neighborhood. I don't do that kind of work for free. The only work I do free is at my home. Ayn Rand would be proud of me.

    I agree. However....standing defense on private property and then being forced away from said property may pertain. I was looking through the charges...pretty broad spectrum and they came fast. Is the DA filing in this manner to prevent long term prosecutions upon this kid? Might be plausible.

    I was upset this morning on how they news is REALLY trying to twist this story. They showed the photos of two victims (looked like two bunhead soy boys) who were heroes who "died trying to disarm an active gunmen". I get the impression that he was "active" because he was being attacked by them.

    I'm growing tired of what appears to be violent mass marxist demonstrations being shoved down our throats and rebranded as groups of "demonstrators". This is very dangerous territory and the news media needs to get back to reality on this. Last night here in town I watched on local tv a group of about 300 of these waify, bun head types taking over our downtown area - one seen swinging a big sword. Good lord...
