In the letter, Karp defended Palantir's government work, and challenged the Silicon Valley "elite" to try thinking for themselves for once, instead of kowtowing to every progressive whim."

While one may disagree with Palantir's business model, its CEO's apparent dedication to protecting the lives of those who depend on Palantir's products is a trait that many could admire and emulate.
