Seems to me - that Dr Mercola is 100% right on this subject.

Worth repeating from a prev post (by me)
    1. Koch’s postulate. The identification of a unique entity, has not been done in this case, so unlikely that a vaccine can be made.

    2. PCR test design. polymerase chain reaction. The inventor of PCR, Kary Mullis, said, “PCR detects a very small segment of the nucleic acid which is part of a virus itself. The specific fragment detected is determined by the somewhat arbitrary choice of DNA primers used which become the ends of the amplified fragment.“

Excuse correction to what Dob wrote- "Covid19 is a specific virus."
Actually, it does not satisfy Koch's Postulate. It may not be a single entity. This fact makes it harder to design a vaccine or unlikely, and a reliable test.
So yes, these test results, may be better than a coin toss, or not.

Yes my brother . Many are testing for the Corona virus which can be a common cold virus. Covid19 is a specific virus.
In COVID-19, 'CO' stands for 'corona,' 'VI' for 'virus,' and 'D' for disease. Formerly, this disease was referred to as “2019 novel coronavirus” or “2019-nCoV”. There are many types of human coronaviruses including some that commonly cause mild upper-respiratory tract illnesses.Jul 15, 2020

What does COVID-19 stand for in its full form?
COVID-19 is the name or acronym of the disease caused by the SARS-CoV2 virus. Viruses and the diseases they cause have different names.

additionally in 5 months I have only had 2 pos in children that I have ordered. Most children are still testing pos for regular things eg rhinovirus and right now HHV-6( roseola)

The tests that I have ordered have been very specific for different kinds of cornaviruses however we had a specific issue where one of my employee"s mother was pos for a month( had 4 pos tests )and the health dept counted that as 4 cases instead of 1

If I remember correctly, the first two test were bad, one from Europe and the other USA...both were supposed to be discarded and a new more accurate one in place.
I wouldn't swear to it but I bet you, in the more strategic states, they may have been using the bad test.
However, it's simpler for them to just lie. No one seems to be verifying their results.
