A friend of mine does drug and alcohol counseling. So far Pennsylvania has seen twice as many overdose deaths than we normally see in a year. Suicides are also past yearlong levels. People are dying because some people hate Trump. It's sickening.

Dr. Scott Atlas has been sharing his assessment of the Cost Benefit Analysis of the Lockdowns for quite some time. His thoughts are are sound, and in particular, he indicates that the Loss of Life (in terms of total human days of life lost) during each month of the Lockdowns is greater than the entire loss of life per C19 itself.

I'm taking this information from a different tack, in that I believe the fear factor has driven governments to their present positions.

Franklin Roosevelt declared during the panic of the Great Depression that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Unfortunately, today's governments are legislating, dictating and mandating out of fear and wrecking the world economies.

Perhaps some of them ARE seizing the moment to grab power and drive their people to submission, but I believe most are just floundering along trying to figure out a way to protect 100.0% of their citizenry from a perceived certain death of a flu.

The potential for 100 million more people being thrown overboard into poverty is a nasty result. The questions I have now are these:
1) Are the national leaders aware of the World Bank's stance on this economic crisis?
2) What will they do about it?

Coast to Coast AM had "V" the Guerilla Economist on last night talking about the impact of Covid19 and the involvement of the major banks plus big pharma in their roll in changing US society. He stated that the coin shortage was because the US Mint was told to slow production and that the banks are responsible for starting the scare on infected paper money. The whole aim is the digitalization of all financial transactions.

I think protecting oneself from COVID should be a personal thing. For me, I would avoid nightclubs, crowded pool parties, subways, trains, planes, and unnecessary contact with strangers in close quarters and for long periods. I do think the viral load that one takes in is really important to whether your body can fight off corona. I am really not sure about the mask thing. Best to do what I said above if you really want to be safe.

A couple of cruise ship companies restarted and had positive COVID detected in a few days. Then the companies decided to cancel the cruises and not to reopen for months more.
Very irrational behavior to take a cruise now, imo.

That's the whole plan, though. One of the inevitable failures in every socialist system comes in healthcare costs - costs which bankrupt the nation employing them. COVID-19 is a socialist's wet dream because it specifically preys upon those who cost the most to the socialist healthcare system - especially retirees. For socialist nations, this virus eliminates the most costly in society. Add to that the fear element (ie panic porn) which makes people more susceptible to top-down controls and this thing is a globalist's panacea.

Of course. Why go to the doctor and get quarantined if he does a covid19 test, but you would get over it on your own anyway. I would NOT go on a cruise ship now- look at what happened when they locked down all the passengers cause a few were sick.

People gave the government power to do what IT thought best for this pandemic. BAD IDEA. Nothing the government does seems to work- think about it. The purpose of government is to promote itself and its minions- any other benefits are purely accidental.

They are being diagnosed as Covid. Total sham.

Saw a report from Australia claiming that many diseases are at much lower rates under the lockdowns. Flu is down 85% in Oz and other diseases have lower incidence, too.
Wonder if its just that people are too afraid to go to doctor and report their symptoms.

The Imperial College also predicted 2 million deaths in the US alone
