Are Liberals Racists?

Most here have already come to this conclusion but it's nice to know...we are not alone.

"America’s colleges, media, and cultural institutions are being swept by the ideology of “anti-racism.” It openly advocates racial discrimination against white people, and promotes bigoted, lower expectations for black people."

" “Rationality” and “hard work” are vestiges of racism, declared the “anti-racism” web site of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. It claimed that virtues like “hard work,” “self-reliance,” being “polite,” and being on time are all a product of the “white dominant culture.” So, too, are normal grammar, the scientific method, and its emphasis on “objective, rational linear thinking,” according to a chart the Smithsonian posted."

It's the old adage, he who smelt it, dealt it.

Those who call out racism with every breath are the true racists.

I completely agree. The entire concept of "identity politics"--which is really all the liberals have to argue--is racist, sexist, xeno-ist, gender-ist, sexual preference-ist, everything-ist.

It is the polar opposite of what Dr. King dreamed about. I know I'll butcher this, but the idea is that people will be judged by the quality of their character, not the color of their skin.

But everything about the current liberal philosophy goes completely against that very idea.

I'm not an American; I'm white, or I'm straight, or I'm a male, or I believe in traditional marriage, or I'm bigoted against the 117 other genders, etc.

Or, worse yet, I'm all of them. I've been tried, convicted, and sentenced to being canceled NOT for who and what I am, but for snippets of who and what I am.

The idea that I can be accurately judged by any one aspect of myself--skin color, gender, etc.--is patently absurd.

But that's what the democraps--the allegedly inclusive party--has become.

I believe the the proper term for the psychological condition that afflicts them all is "projecting".

You know, I think I just came up with the entire democrap platform at their convention, one that sums up everything they are: Divide and Conquer.

Yes, the leftists are the biggest racists of all. I recently remarked on the violent, looting, rampaging mongrels that were causing all the mayhem in the inner-cities after the Saint Floyd death. One of my lefty friends shot back that I was a racist for calling black people mongrels. I turned and said "I have not mentioned anything regarding the melanin level in the rioters... but it's clear to me, that in your mind, you have attached the term mongrel to blacks." She was silenced as she had unthinkingly exposed her mind. These lefties are so painfully shallow.

Around my household we still joke about Biden's "You ain't black!" gaffe. We think that's funny as hell...that the old while Dem would actually say that. What a hoot...

I've been surprised in recent weeks by Leo Terrell. For year's he's been a prominent black civil rights attorney who's been a go-to guest on various TV ad radio shows to espouse liberal views.

Biden's statement was a last straw. He's now vehement about how poorly the Democratic party actually treats blacks and is supporting Trump.

Candace Owens Blexit movement has sunk the Dems chances in 2020 and they know it.
That is why Biden made his statement of “You ain’t Black if ....”

It Seems LBJ was a bit optimistic when he likely said “We will have the nggers vote for 200 years”
This quote appears on page 155 of Goodwin’s LBJ biography. The utterance was made to Richard Russell, a fellow Democratic Senator from Georgia.

The source of the “200 years” quote is Ronald Kessler’s 1995 book Inside the White House. Kessler got the quote from Robert MacMillan, an Air Force One steward who said LBJ uttered this comment to two governors during a conversation on the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Snopes, a fact-checking website, states “there’s little evidence to back up” the quote.

It’s a strange claim since Snopes admits the quote “wouldn't have been entirely out of character for LBJ” and other sources corroborated many of the other “juicy tidbits” MacMillan gave Kessler (such as LBJ’s penchant for walking around nude in the presence of others).

So why doubt the quote’s authenticity?

Snopes brings into question MacMillan’s veracity, noting that “Luci Baines Johnson flatly denied MacMillan's claim that when she was a teenager she once screamed at him to go ‘Find my n
gger’ (i.e., her servant) and threatened to slap him if he didn't.”

It must not have occurred to Snopes that many people would “flatly deny” such a claim. The fact-checking outfit, which has a notable left-leaning tilt, seems primarily concerned with defending the idea that LBJ’s action on civil rights was anything but “genuine idealism.” They ignore or overlook the following facts to reach this conclusion:

Kessler’s source is historically sound (a firsthand account from an eyewitness).
LBJ’s paternal and racist rhetoric toward African Americans (his fondness for the use of the word “ngger” is well documented) casts some doubt on the idea that his motivations on civil rights were altruistic.
Luci Baines Johnson, who likely heard her father use racial epithets, would have motivation to deny any racist utterances she might have made.
Goodwin’s quote confirms that LBJ possessed a well-honed political calculus on the issue of civil rights.
If LBJ said what MacMillan claimed, MacMillan's “editorializing” comments, which Snopes frowned upon, make sense. (MacMillan used the words “phony” and “ploy” to characterize LBJ’s motivations on the Civil Rights Act of 1964.)
Numerous historians have LBJ on the record referring to the Civil Rights Act of 1957 as “the n
gger bill,” a phrase that runs counter to altruism on civil rights.
One can imagine LBJ saying what MacMillan claims he said, especially if LBJ was trying to whip up support for his bill among reluctant Democrats.
We likely never will know for certain if LBJ said what MacMillan claims, but Snopes’ case falls short of casting serious doubt on the testimony of an eyewitness account.

Racist is about as useless a term as any we could ever imagine. Any term that is so often overused and directed to so many different conditions becomes lame. There are plenty of humans from many differents racial backgrounds who I don't like so I guess I am a racist but the reason I don't like individuals has nothing to do with their race even if they are the same race as me.

Of course their leadership is racist otherwise why would they encourage minorities to burn and loot their own homes and businesses. Wouldn't it be telling if the progressive controlled and encouraged carnage went beyond the minority owned areas and bled into the bastions of the white liberal elite. I guarantee these hypocrites would be bleating about cracking down on the wanton destruction. The liberal/progressive left is guilty of most of the problems and funded by George Soros!

of course they are racist, otherwise how can they control others, if they do not create a division. "Rules for Radicals." Soros was asked on time why he used blacks to create riots to toward his goal of bringing down the US, he said, bacause they are dumb, and easy to manipulate. Racist, right? Obma spent 8 years using alinsky's race baiting Marxism, and disappointed Soros when he did not ahieve the destruction of the US. Obama was racist, of course he never was sure what race he was, only that he was communist.

They had a 16 year plan. Hussein had it set up
( install Muslim Brotherhood , defund the military , divide the people) for Hiliar Rotten Clinton to finish US off. Trump got in the way between them and US.

I’m glad more people are paying attention to this nonsense, because it’s now being taught in our schools, if not yet enforced by police as it is in the UK and elsewhere.

The underlying problem is a nonsense view of the world called intersectionality, which advances a whole list of nonsense propositions including:

    (1) White men control, and are the oppressors of, the world. As such they are never entitled to complain of bias against them.
    (2) Groups such as the protected classes of civil rights law are victims of that oppression.
    (3) Which, and how many, victim groups you belong to determines your merit and the degree of favorable special treatment you’re entitled to throughout life.
    (4) All the above judgments of people apply to every individual, regardless of whether he or she has actually victimized others and/or been mistreated himself. The notion that rights and responsibilities are individually earned is racist.
    (5) Wanting a color-blind or meritocratic society is racist. So is denying any of these statements.

As far as I’m concerned, believing any of the above ought to get you sent to the nearest funny farm, full stop.

I expect the intersectionalist community eventually to destroy itself, since their view has built-in contradictions, particularly when the demands of "transsexuals" encroach on those of other groups. But a lot of this is just distraction intended to let them ruin our civilization while we're looking away in disgust.

Democrats have always been and still remain racists. They judge everyone by the color of their skin. They assign behavior, personality and traits to people based on the color of their skin. They are the slave owners of old, the KKK and white supremacists and antifa of now.

Indeed! They are the worst kind of racists because they assume that they know what’s best for the poor, ignorant, benighted people of color. Their condescending arrogance is palpable.

A simple example of how Racist they are is this story.

Each school year in the first few days of class some random student will accuse me of being Racist. I always reply by telling the student that I am Hispanic. They tell me that I am not a Mexican and I agree and tell them that I am Cuban. The truth is that one of my Great Greats immigrated from France to Cuba and then to Florida. All of this was shortly before Florida became part of the US. This means that even though I am White I am Technically of Hispanic origin. Funny thing is that after I tell these kids this I never get accused of being Racist that school year again. No matter what I say or do.

Its really the pot calling the kettle black.

You hit upon the solution...we all identify as Hispanic!...laughing...I wonder if you would be racist if you said you were French...they don't seem to bother the French that much...never heard of it anyway.

But it works for you and I am glad...maybe they will listen to your lessons and "unwoke" up.

When I tell them this they don't believe me at first but I show them a picture of my Dad and his Dad. They both worked outside and always had a deep red tan. In those pictures they are darker than most of the "Mexicans" in my class. Honestly that's what sells it.

So...we all get a tan and then document it for the future.

We had about 100 friends and students of ours there...believe it or not...a couple of them didn't recognize us.

I am glad it worked out for you...now maybe you can explain to them how stupid it is to claim everyone is racist when clearly they are not.
(I don't like the term nor the definition, it's nonsense)

Skin color and minor differences do not a race make...in my mind, (despite progressive definitions) Race should denote dramatic differences...

Race does denote dramatic differences. It's only a difference of Levels of Melanin in our skin. We are all of the Human Race.

A chemical, put on the head of a pin, that couldn't be seen with the naked eye....no so dramatic.

I do wonder, though, if the 1%, the global delete, the great unwashed with their psychopathic hubris is an even more dramatic difference and are a different race of the human species, not Human in the same sense the rest of are.
It's why I call them: Parasitical Humanoids, with no conscience, not conscious, no mind,no voice and no mutuality, empathy or kinship with mankind.

The basic thrust of Rand’s notion of racism is that it grants to a “man” a status “he” has not earned. If you have to claim status because of the accomplishments of your “race” that means you probably haven’t earned anything as an individual. Ayn Rand...

I couldn't find any quotes of her thoughts about people that chant racism all the time...I wanted to know what she would have thought now days beyond the effects of cultural marxism. What does it say of the person that points you out as racist when you are not.

Yes, in that they seek to categorize people into all sorts of pigeonholes to make the case that each group is somehow being victimized by some overwhelming monolith which includes all whites, with certain exceptions, rich, conservatives, Republican, Christians. It is not the brining together by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's content of character but what he was trying to overcome, skin color. They need to have people divided to appeal to special interests instead of a people with a united goal.

I have been saying this for years, racism is the assumption that an individual can't do something based off of a physical characteristic. When did man's intellectual faculties begin to depreciate to the point that we are hit by tired bromides and half thought out ideas?

When?...let us count the ways together: 1 A massive increase of Confounding our language 2, our history, 3,confounding our education and 4, confounding our health care...amplified big time with Woodie Wilson...and lately, 5, the weakening of our magnetic shields and 6, a massive increase in cosmic radiation which, not only confounds the health of the most vulnerable but also the most cognitively vulnerable...pushing both these groups right over the edge. Then 7, we add in a sprinkle of postmodernism driven by, 8, Cultural marxism.
And, 9 and 10...Evil violence caused by BLM, AntiF***, 11, 12, 13, 14, Demoralization and idiotologies of, Socialist, communist and islamist.

Probably could add more but I bet you knew most of this already.
